Hi all, dose anyone know how to fix SkyRe's conflict with climates of Tamriel??
I wanted my skyrim to be dark and spooky for which i installed COT but ever since I got SkyRe, the dark lighting effect ceased to work.
some guy said 'just have to remove the SkyRe - Lighting plugin' but i have no clue where or what that is.
Help please!! ><

There isn't supposed to be a conflict between SkyRe and CoT (I'm using both, for the record, and CoT is among the suggested mods on the SkyRe page).

Are you sure you're using the latest version of SkyRe? I'm asking because the lighting module was dropped a few versions ago, and nothing in the current version changes anything lighting related as far as I know.

Yes I am, SkyRe1.3.

Its weird, I try to disable SkyRe and went back into the game, still the CoT dosent work no more. Could I perhaps trouble you to double check my mods for conflicts?

Many thanks!

Edit: Oh and also I was reading something about ENB, but my CoT was working before without any of the ENB mods.

Ah, did you recently install an ENB preset? Some authors advise to turn the in-game brightness all the way down (such as in the one I'm using, Project ENB), otherwise your game won't get nearly dark enough no matter what "darker nights" option you install.

I also noticed that you're using CoT's interior modules (Dungeons-Hardcore and Interiors-Warm), and I honestly don't know whether or not they would turn too dark if you did the above: those modules, as far as I've gathered, simply turn down the intensity of every kind of interior lighting (and you might not want to turn that even darker), as opposed to, say, ELFX which removes the ambient lighting/lighting with no source and for this reason works pretty well with darker settings.

Chances are CoT is working as intended, anyway (this you can check by looking at the sky every now and then; if you're getting an abnormous number of different weather conditions and they all look pretty, then it's working).

As a final note, some ENB presets just aren't very compatible with CoT, not that they will break anything but stuff won't look as good as it should.

Edit: I hope I read your last sentence right... otherwise simply disregard this whole post.

I don't feel particularly smart right now.
