Sparky the wounded dog

Is it possible to entice him to a settlement or does he just hang around in the one sector? In my playthrough he is fairly near to sunshine tidings but I cannot coax him to come to the actual settlement. Is there a way to turn him into a settlement pet?

Sadly, you can't bring him to a settlement, and I don't think there's any mod that'll allow that. Wish there was. You can still sometimes see him as a random encounter again though.

There are a couple of mods that let you recruit any NPC.
