vack7 Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Im trying to make a new worldspace, i made tons of new assets in blender to populate the worldspace, by default the worldspace is very small. default size of a new "worldspace" is barely slightly bigger than riverwood, Ik you can make a world almost the size of skyrim which is massive, i only need it to be slightly bigger, i drop some of the new custom buildings and objects into the worldspace and the default world is so small its almost entirely filled up with just a few objects which arent even that big
HentaiGnome Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 You're better off resizing your Blender assets to match the scale of the game world, not the other way around.

If this turns out to be the problem here... "Gentlemen, thaw your chickens." 10 points for the one that knows the reference.
vack7 Posted July 3, 2025 Author Posted July 3, 2025 i could try that, better than nothing, but all the new area mods add pretty big areas wyrmstooth falskaar etc, in the ck if you do world>worldspaces>create new, by default the new worldspace is somewhere around 1-8 cells at most, which is slightly bigger than riverwood, nothing like the new area mods, im not sure if you go into sseedit to add new cells or how its done ive tried pressing almost every button i could find in the ck, seems like it would be better to just use a interior cell
vack7 Posted July 3, 2025 Author Posted July 3, 2025 im trying to make a small city, bigger than riverwood, i cant really scale the assets down by much, only other thing i could try is maybe add a bunch of invisible walls fog everywhere and break the city up, since a new worldspace by default is just a perfect flat plane thats very small

But now that the OP has responded and clarified their situation I think what they meant was that they want to expand the worldspace further out because at the moment it seems like all they can do is make a small island, and instead they want something as huge as Falskaar in scale and scope. Again, I'm just assuming here. 3 hours ago, vack7 said: im trying to make a small city, bigger than riverwood, i cant really scale the assets down by much, only other thing i could try is maybe add a bunch of invisible walls fog everywhere and break the city up, since a new worldspace by default is just a perfect flat plane thats very small When you were creating your Worldspace in Creation Kit, like if clicked on WORLD > Worldspaces, at the very bottom I think there was an option that was checked on by default that says "Small World". Maybe if you turned that off it might make a bigger worldspace? Alternatively, to the right of that is "Fixed Dimensions", which if you turn on you'll be able to enter the exact size as to how big you want it. I don't have Creation Kit installed right now, but after some digging around it seems like this is is how people create larger world sizes. Try it out and hopefully it'll help! Thanks that got me 1 step closer, i check small world fixed dimensions and either do -16, -16, or whatever, the worldspace is able to generate new cells now, but for some reason the new cells never stay loaded, i scroll around the worldspace and it generates new cells in the cell view window, but in the render window the worldspace never actually generates new cells so it always stays the same size being just 1cell in total, even though there are new cells in the cell view window I tried saving reopening and the worldspace is back to being just 1 cell in both the render window and in the cell view window, not sure if im doing something wrong sorry never made a worldspace before, just need it to be slightly bigger, maybe i need to generate lod? But still I should be able to see land loading and unloading as i move around in the render window 1
vack7 Posted July 5, 2025 Author Posted July 5, 2025 O nvm thanks again think i got it, after that file>pref>render window>allow render window cell loads, then hit f5 and i see new cells loading and unloading in the worldspace now as i scroll around 1

I'm glad you were able to resolve it. 🙂 I look forward to seeing your mod someday, unless you're just doing it for practice or for a private gameplay lol.
