JRHT Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Hi everyone, I've got a situation where certain save games won't load from the main menu, but will load when in game. For instance, when I try and load save game 400 from the menu, Skyrim hangs and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of there. But if I load save game 300, I can then load save game 400 and it loads fine. Can anyone help me by explaining: - Why this is happening? - How it can be overcome? Thanks!

hryh23k9823u Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Hapens sometimes. The most secure way to solve it, i think, is unsinstalling mods that run scripts often. However that is not so bad. Just type something like "coc qasmoke" in the main menu and load your save from there (same like loading previous save > current save, but more comfortable).
Dallas-Arbiter Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Get rid of script heavy mods, and use the pcb command before you save. If possible, save in small sparsely decorated interiors too.
