My discord account was hacked.

How did You find out?

I went to discord yesterday (now) and saw I had sent out a ton of messages, offering a steam $50.00 card. Since I knew I hadn't, and then I got a few responses from like Fluffy, and ninedelorian , along with some personal friends that I have known for decades now... 

I immediately went into delete mode, with that steam link, and of course apologies mode as well. Then I had the whole account removed.  

So here is what happened the best I can figure. I have a Samsung phone, which of course I use password manager on Chrome. about 4 days ago, I got a notice from amazon, over a laptop. Of course I didn't order one, so I shut that down real fast, did the two step thing, and got set up.

Same thing happened again. Fixed it, and had Customer service help to make sure nothing could happen. So some one was getting live updates to when I even changed passwords.

Now I checked my PC from top to bottom, with every maleware scanner, and Virus scanner I could find, and it came up clean. so then I checked my phone, and noticed it had maleware on it. This is confusing for me, as the only documents or files I have, are related to a new job. I contacted them, just in case, and am waiting to hear back from them. The job, if your curious, is I will be a home healthcare worker for my wife through the state of Oklahoma. Which involves a lot of test taking, fingerprinting, etc. etc.

Again, I am so sorry if this affected anyone here. I have created a brand new account for discord, in which I will need to repopulate with all the boards I got from here, but I am going to take it slow, just to make sure I have got rid of my own hacker.

Well, Slight update, my old account is still up, which I do not understand at all. as I asked it be deleted.

Fortunately I am no techguy, and seldom use my phone much. So less to worry about.
