Wicked Zoi project a scam?

Recommended Posts

It's definitely a straight-up scam. They're ripping off artwork and assets from legit Adult DAZ 3D artists on RenderHub.com. I know because I have an account there and I use DAZ Studio myself.

Next question that goes begging to be asked and answered:

Is there anything official from TurboDriver in regards to modding on Inzoi?

if TD comes back and says they haven't got anything going on officially, at least nothing on WickedZoi, then you know for certain this is a scam above and someone is attempting to spray liquid crap all over TD in the process by trying to make it appear as if they are involved in this scam.

https://wickedzoi.itch.io/wickedzoi-adult-mod-for-inzoi - This one on Itch.io is 100% a scam — totally fake. Whoever made it just ripped images and animations from DAZ Studio models off RenderHub.com.

These are the images and animations that they stolen from RenderHub.com:

https://www.renderhub.com/oomphy/side-chick-pose-pack-for-g8f--g8m

https://www.renderhub.com/adultdazanimation/adult-animation-for-g8-and-g9-049

https://wicked.cc/uncategorized/admin/wickedwhims-for-inzoi/ - And this April Fools joke one by TURBODRIVER? Yeah, I fell for it too at first — it led to a YouTube video. But to be clear, the Itch.io one isn't his at all.

The one on Itch.io. Looked sketchy. I kind of knew something was off. Like—there's no universe where that much progress happens without mod tools, especially scripting, which still isn't even supported yet for inZOI, that have been only in early access for a few months, with the Modkit now just came out this last week. Anyone who knows how this stuff works could see through that in seconds. It's like they didn't even try hard enough to make it believable.

Honestly, I just want the real project for inZOI—whatever it will be called—to get the time, respect, and protection it deserves. TURBODRIVER's done too much for the community to have scammers come in and muddy the waters with fake hype and stolen art.

Agreed. TOTALLY a fraud

And those who were DUMB enough to contribute to it did their part to pay for someone's vavation to Tahiti

Agreed. Unless TURBODRIVER officially announced that was was posted as an April Fools joke REALLY IS NOT an April Fools joke afterall, I'll be among those who believe THERE IS a WW For InZOI & it's in the works with NO ETA as to when it will the initial release will be made public as I don't think too many people want to see Colonel Nutty rebuilding his RUINED reputation with The Sims community with the old DD is a beastiality mod by creating a DD For InZOI mod (Although I think he'll still find a way to throw his hat into the ring too)

Wicked ZOI is a total scam, in addition to Extreme Real Life – inZOI Edition.  Both so-called "mods" use a similar style on itch.io, characterized by obvious AI-generated text, the frequent use of emojis, and an attempt to incorporate stolen images of DAZ3D models from Renderhub.com in a dishonest effort to pass these characters off as Zois.

the fact that one of these scams is showing up as the number one result for inzoi nsfw mods is kind of scary to think of

Yeah, it's diabolical. To make matters worse, there is an idiot/troll who keeps posting it on YouTube as if this shit is real. What a joke! I can't stand this guy (litzoi, also known as Creationdev on YouTube). He already trolled the GTA community and stalked Cyberboi, and now he's trolling the inZOI community with this bullshit. It's best to ignore him.

So has this scam postponed actual real mods? People who maybe would have looked into making a framework but saw wickedzoi as "in development" and didn't bother?

I'm actually interested in this question. Someone asked me the other day about InZoi modding while I was working on generalizing my own framework mods to work across UE4/5 games, and they mentioned InZoi 'needs a framework'. I thought one existed, or was at least started, did it not go anywhere?

Absolutely not, lamentably one of the "Frameworks" was an april fools joke that people took seriously, and the other was a scam, no one was really working on anything I fear

A rather cruel April Fool's joke, lol.

I ended up doing more research on the topic and sadly it does seem all the projects were either fake or out-right scams. In our Discord I actually warned our community about InZoi mod scams back on April 5th, 2025. Although I didn't call out WickedZoi directly, it was what had me make the announcement where I specifically stated, "... Remember to only support projects when there's actually something tangable to see and use! Building a proof of concept should be the first step for anyone taking a true dive, if they can't even show you said proof of concept I'd be extremely skeptical!"

In that same post, I also stated, "... Beyond that warning, InZoi is a game I am personally interested in but don't know if I'll get into modding it in its current state..."

Regrettably, at this point anyways, I didn't go into InZoi modding at all (I didn't even pick up the game >.<). However, recently I've been expanding my UE5 modding capabilities and with the successful port of a Palworld Framework (Sugar Cake) to an Oblivion Remastered framework (Baking For Mara), some discussions about a generalized framework has started between me and a few community members.

Given the InZoi modding scene has seen a ton of scams and is in a very sketchy place at the moment, I'm going to be a bit careful what I say next.

I am not saying that this generalized framework could work with InZoi, instead I am simply looking to try InZoi as a target as it is an Unreal Engine 5 game which also potentially has its own scripting system (similar to Oblivion Remastered with its Gamebryo back-end). The goal I currently have is to create a generalized set of framework functions/methods that work across Unreal Engine games in a limited capacity, then, for each game, a sort of 'interface' and 'game logic' handling mod could be made which uses the generalized framework as its backend. Given I'm interested in playing and modding InZoi to begin with, it seems like a valid target I could actually care about rather than just testing 'random' Unreal Engine games, but I did want to check if a framework already existed, wasn't interested in stepping on any toes (would potentially test, but not bother releasing anything substantial).

The important detail here, is that I Do Not Currently Have Access to InZoi, so this statement is very pre-mature!

I just felt I should say something and state my overall intent, as the next time InZoi goes on sale (or I get tired of waiting X.x) I'll take a stab at it and see where it leads. My fear is the scams are going to completely destroy the potential this scene may have, and given I've gone in to assist other communities survive a similar fate (see Palworld R18+ modding >.<), I figure I should take my interest and at least try and help. I'd also really hate to see InZoi succumb to the same paywalled hellscape that the Sims often falls into, where paywalled mods and hiding info/creating rivalries has been normalized to a very harmful degree (and is the reason I never released any Sims mods).

The lewd modding community isn't large enough to kink shame. If dude wants to make avatars banging dogs that's his artistic prerogative. Doesn't mean I will download those animation packs. SIMS4 modding community is fine with selling coke in high school then banging the principal in front of the class. EA even includes a transsexual flag in a kids game on their bar backs void of mods. But we draw the line at bestiality. That's not how freedom of expression works. I will take an inZOI lewd engine from anyone as inZOI is clearly superior to SIMS4 for this application. If I don't like some content of the aforementioned engine I wont consume it. Simple as.
