hana120 Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Hello. On one of my backups, I have a problem with Creature framework. It seems to get stuck in a loading loop and almost all creature sex meshes seem to be disabled.

Well when I go to his mcm every time, the message saying to wait two minutes appears all the time. Spoiler Here, I have Ocreature activated in the mod, but even without it, it does this.

traison Posted June 17, 2025 Posted June 17, 2025 First of all you have over 3000 errors about missing scripts and properties. You need to fix those if you intend to play Skyrim. That log does not appear to be from a session where Creature Framework was active or doing anything. Start a new game, let the game settle for a couple of minutes, then open the CF MCM and wait a minute again. Then quit the game and check the log for CF related errors.

Cleaning scripts and loot? Is the new backup just to see if CF works? Not to play again? Because on this savegame I can still play, only CF is buggy.

Until the game starts to CTD during autosaves because it fails to serialize the state of random objects; or until another mod turns out to be broken. With 3000 missing files and properties, there's bound to be more than CF that isn't working. 1 hour ago, hana120 said: Cleaning scripts and loot? All loot does is sort your plugins according to a master list. It has very little to do with massive script related issues like this. 1 hour ago, hana120 said: Correct them? Remove the mods that are missing scripts, or install them properly or otherwise obtain the missing scripts. For missing properties you'll need xEdit and the script sources so that you can analyze whether or not they're actually used, and if they are, assign a value to them. Start a new game, or use ReSaver to get rid of the majority of them (most likely), then fix the rest by hand. 1 hour ago, hana120 said: Is the new backup just to see if CF works? Not to play again? I assume you mean you only intend to use this backup for testing, not playing. Regardless, seems silly to do either on a broken foundation like this.

After that, with this backup, I finished a long time ago. I'm using it right now, just to make the images for my blog and play for a few minutes just for fun. I did everything I had to do in it.

I deactivated it and all the creatures mods (BDIC, MNC, HCOS, etc). Then I did a backup cleanup, launched the clean backup. Then I waited for CF to be removed from the mcm. I saved then quit the game, put CF and the creature mods back. And everything worked fine again.
