Even if you are here just for the game news, I have got you covered! No longer will you get those useless pings from power-tripping admins about their life, it is your choice to abstain from the community and observe how the game develops, in a pure, no-bullshit atmosphere of either isolation or integration.

The 'official unofficial' RimWorld Discord server monopoly over the RimWorld community is a problem to some, and so I offer a solution. I invite you to a Discord/Stoat server meant as an alternative, or a place of refuge for those banned on the 'main' server.

I checked Loverslab rules and there is nothing about offering people an invite or bumping the post, so do not act like the people at the 'official unofficial' RimWorld Discord server or the RW Discord dev server and keep your made-up rules to yourself.

Might check it. Got kicked from, the RJW server by a fussy mod/admin for no particular reason. Mods are just getting worse and worse.

Discord desperate to IPO, CEO got bills to pay!  But prolly won't completely eliminate Discord RJW, just seriously reduce it...

@Soronarr Don't worry, I've been expanding the server to other platforms as well. I am also thinking on making an IRC chat
it's not falling any soon

 

edit: I imagine not marking channels as 'age restricted' will void the age check for access

Been curious to ask peeps still on Discord how painful the "teen until ID says otherwise" implementation has been.  Seems like it wouldn't affect the moderation side so much, assuming the ID says one is old enough actually BE a legal adult in said jurisdiction... or is it just a bunch of kids wearing fake mustaches like from a Mario Halloween costume?

so far this did not really affect this server as i have disabled the 'mark as nsfw' on every nsfw channel, voiding every age check
