fikkkks Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Hey, new to Skyrim and modding for this game in general and was trying to use some SLAL anim packs in conjunction with the Public Whore mod. I was using the spell that targets an NPC and then starts a scene with both NPC and player, but it keeps only saying "failed to start animation" (or something close, I'm on 3 hrs of sleep rn). I checked MO2 logs, and there's nothing there, I reset SexLabs, and through SLAL I re-registered the animations I downloaded, but when I check SexLabs (P+) in MCM, the registered animations number always stays at "0" in the debug section. I did disable all animations and re-build the registry, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about modding Skyrim and reading logs to fix this one 😅 I did already re-run FNIS and Pandora each time I made a change, but FNIS didn't tell me anything useful. Can someone help walk me through solving this, please? 😭 If you need my mod order / logs or something, how do I go about doing all that here?
saber778 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Hi bro, did you get it working? I'm facing the same issue. I'm on 1.5.97, installed sexlab P+ and everything, followed each step after running pandora I was able to see the files too. But MCM in game is not showing any animations and also when I use spells to trigger scene I get "Failed to start Scene".

Normal SLAL animations do not work with SLP+ You need to have animations specifically converted for use with SLP+ called SLSB packs, which is why they're most likely not showing up Check out SLP+'s modpage for more details on where to find SLSB packs and how to convert SLAL animations into SLSB packs. Also please try to avoid reviving old posts like this one
