D3vilizeR Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 (edited) Hi everybody! I would like to ask for help. I don't know why, but my body physics stopped overnight (I use CBPC). Yesterday it was working perfectly, but today when I entered the game, it stopped working. I didn't update anything, I didn't install any new mods. Two important notes: I updated Windows 11 and Vortex. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I don't know what to think anymore. What I tried: - I reinstalled XPMSSE - I reinstalled the BHUNP body - I reinstalled CBPC and SMP physics - I reinstalled Pandora Engine and the latest update of .NET 9 - I tried loading a previous save - I tried starting a new game LOOT and Vortex don't indicate any problems or missing files either. Again, I haven't done anything with my game since yesterday. Anyone else have this problem, or has anyone else experienced something similar since the Windows/Vortex update? Note 1: SMP physics works because the hair physics is fine (I only use SMP for that). Body physics doesn't work at all, specifically none. Note 2: I'm using Skyrim version 1.5.97 Edited June 11, 2025 by D3vilizeR

I updated vortex and immediately had some problems too. For me I simply didn't have body textures or normal maps loading at all. I haven't done enough troubleshooting to find out everything that may have gone wrong but what I did find out is this: Vortex is currently failing to deploy certain mods. Don't know why. I located the folder that my textures and maps were supposed to go in, and they were completely missing the folder with my associated skin mods in them. I was able to temp fix the appearance problems by manually placing the files into the right place in my DATA folder It's possible for you that one or more of the mods needed to make CBPC run properly are just simply not deploying from your load order, but I'd suspect Vortex at the moment. Hopefully the Vortex team can fix it sooner rather than later, but manual verification and install of missing mods may fix your issue EDIT: On further research, rolling back your version of vortex may work as well: MODDINGWIKI Users Troubleshooting Downgrading Extensions · Nexus-Mods/Vortex Wiki · GitHub but it looks like the Vortex devs are now aware of the issue and working on it: Vortex failing to deploy and giving false redundancy flags - Vortex Support - Nexus Mods Forums Edited June 12, 2025 by IcicleInn 1

Yes, Vortex caused it, luckily I didn't start deleting all my mods, but I still had to start a new game. The new Vortex update seems to have fixed the bugs.
