Is it just me, or has the adult Sims section become much quieter?

I can only see pics sharing topics and users asking for help (90% of them are bots, since they ask a question and never respond or react to replies).

A few years ago, it was much more active AFAIR, so... what happened? Where are all the fellow pervs discussing adult modding, ranting, and causing drama? 😅

I tend to see a fair bit of discussion within pic sharing threads. As far as ranting or causing drama... I for one am glad there's not really any of that, insofar as I can tell anyhow. I'd rather it be more or less quiet if talkative and active means being rude and unnecessarily provocative 😗

Yeah, tho I won't deny the guilty pleasure of spectating drama unfold sometimes!

But by "active" I didn't mean being rude, hateful, kink-shaming, or provoking, not at all. I mean threads/clubs where people create and share specific kinky CC, pics and so. Like the "Wife swap" ones, but... more? IMO, there's still aren't enough foot fetish, femdom, trans, bimbo, NTR themed CCs :3

There has been a mass influx in the amount of people posting in the subreddits that I frequent.

Any particular subreddit you can recommend? 🙂

I'm busy lol. I used to post a lot more in the TS4 section when I was a student, especially during COVID, but I just don't have as much leisure time as I used to. I also don't really play The Sims as much anymore, so there's that.

Also, to echo what's been posted already, I'm good with the lack of arguing and drama in the threads lol.

I haven't been here very long, but I do see some patterns. One of them is many users who post on this site have been here for years, some a decade. I hardly see new users posting. Also, there seems to be close groups here. I've tried to connect with some users, but most don't even respond, unless it's because I'm doing tech support for them. It seems like people here don't want to talk, or talk to anyone new. And I'll be honest, I haven't felt welcomed since I joined. So far, it's been a demotivating experience.

This is what I got in response to my very first post here:

Ouch... definitely not the welcome note you're expecting to see. Also yeah, people seem to be separated, and newcomers usually don't feel welcomed, those are main reasons. As far as this thread goes, it makes me think that if you want to engage people or do anything at all, you have to roll up your sleeves and do all the dirty work yourself. And maybe, just maybe, some of them will actually engage.

P.S. Your butler girl is very sweet :3

There are definitely a few posters here you'd do well to just ignore. Sorry you got such a crappy response to your arrival.

I usually hangout in the WCIF subs, but lately that have turned into tech support and drama fests. Tiresome topics that a simple Google search can fix.

@Princess Lyria I saw your Nora when you first posted and lightly followed the "conversation" that came after. That one particular person likes to complain almost about everything... file size, the amount of self deemed unnecessary files. The person is mostly just a pest. I myself usually don't/won't say anything unless I become curious about the topic. If something I dl is broken or missing something I'll let the creator know. No news is good news.

The time that I have spent here though I have noticed that this is the trend. People don't really speak unless it's to complain about something. Unless you are in one of those close groups.

That's also true, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I've been here two and a half years, and don't even have 100 posts yet. I usually only post to share a couple of pics or to offer a comment on someone's pics or story or mod that I find especially compelling, or maybe to answer a few easy questions for newbies about topics I happen to actually know about. If these forums developed more of a community, I'd be happy to take part, but mostly I think people usually come here for a specific reason, find what they're looking for, and move on.

I've been assuming that it's due to the broader Sims 4 people being less... being... you know, a little judgy. Or not judgy enough in some cases. I hear the Twitter is full of big drama and not really much sexual. But I wouldn't know.

I would also enjoy more of a community here. I like keeping up with forums. You would have thought upon the Sims 3 forums closing, there'd be a migration to here for some people.
