adoiad Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 (edited) Hello all. Does anyone know of a mod that lets you properly side with Lord Harkon at the end of the Dawnguard quest so he doesn't try to kill you or maybe you defeat him and recruit him? I haven't been able to find such a mod or even a mod that makes him a follower other than some steam workshop mod that makes a copy of him and I think he uses the wrong voice lines. What I'd really like is a mod that makes a small tweak at the end of the Dawnguard questline like I described. I don't think such a mod exists but thought I'd ask in case it was on LL somewhere or a feature of some mod on nexus that isn't named using Harkon in the title. Edited June 9, 2025 by adoiad
Miauzi Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 Vor 2 Stunden sagte adoiad: Hallo zusammen. For such a scenario to make any sense, you would have to hand over Serana and her mother to Harkon... or kill them yourself (on Harkon's orders).  Since Harkon now has the blood of a "Daughter of Coldharbour" in addition to the bow - he can now "corrupt" the bow accordingly - he actually no longer needs the services of the upstart (called "Player"). So you have to fight him to survive... but among vampires, this means a fight "to the death"... so only one of the two can continue to exist.  Such a mod would hardly have any right to exist, even according to Skyrim's twisted vampire lore.  Why am I describing this in such detail? -> because the motivation of mod authors to sacrifice their free time for such a project -> is probably very low.  There isn't even a decent mod to renovate/renovate this filthy dump of a castle - if you join the Vampire faction in the game, you get a dilapidated ruin as the grand prize!
jfraser Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 now i want a mod where harkon wins, the sun goes out, and everyone turns into immortal icecubes, unable to do anything until the world ends. XD
ebbluminous Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 Whoops, looks like Skyrim FanFic just entered the room...
