Dune: Awakening

The game has released for Pre-ordering season pass snobs like myself. I'm not really expecting much in the way of adult modding. That being said, many Conan exiles servers were advertised on this site, for obvious reasons. Since it's by the same creators, will any of the Conan vets be playing this game? I'm having a blast so far, and I wouldn't scoff at the idea of someone from lovers lab starting a private server, especially if we do get pleasantly surprised with bouncy tiddy stillsuits.

Very somewhat! It's definitely it's own games, but it does have the feel of an improved CE. Only real complaint so far is other players, because of their bases everywhere. I had no idea people could make bases that ugly in the strangest, out of place locations.

I've been pretty curious about this. Surprised that nobody has full on dove right into modding it yet. its def on a newer version of unreal than conan but its without a doubt built on top of those systems.

Personally I've been too busy playing the game to dig into the files let alone attempt at modding anything lol

Oh, yeah. They're really emphasizing the MMO part of this, so yeah- looks like it won't have conan exiles type modding. I am much less interested. Glad I didn't plop down cash before

they announced they will allow people to make private servers but never said anything about mods, while I would consider if they added mods and a private LL server became a thing, I dont expect mods to happen

Sounds like the "private servers" are limited home areas that are still tied to the overall mmo, not completely separate entities

thats one of the dumbest Ideas I ever heard. I guess Ill have to wait to see if someone manages to emulate the full servers so we can have real private servers
