CTD any time I am in a cell where a Hiyoko birth happened (I assume the child is there)

So whether I am IN the cell and the birth happens or the birth already took place and I enter that cell, I CTD.

Have you installed a new Mod?  Or changed your load order ?  Then the data for your children is no longer correct and the game may crash.   

HiyokoGeneratorGeneForge.esp uses its own races and therefore the NPCs are always correct (hair, eyes, textures)  but not the items they get from their parents, ( clothing, armor)

And if you have received mod clothing, armor (not vanilla) and the mod was moved or deleted in the load order, the ID is no longer correct and the game can crash. ( The same problem as in the vanilla main quest: when you get your statue in Bruma, and it use mod armor and weapons. If you delete this mod or change the load order, the game crashes as soon as you enter Bruma )

 

When you changed your Load Order, you received a message when you started the game and ignored it.

You need your old Load order ( but you don't want that ) or you use the HiyokoClub Settings spell in game and the cleaning function. Yes you have to "kill" all children in game. 

That's why I always say, don't start with Tamago / Hiyoko until you have all the mods you want. (Yes, I know, after a while you install more mods and have to kill all the children again)

 

CTD on birth:

I don't know when it is determined what the child receives, but father and mother are already recorded at conception, and if their Load Order or the objects they have change before birth, CTD can occur.

If you still have the bug after killing your children and start breeding again:

And I always had problem with LoversHiyokoShooter.esp (all versions I tested) . I would try the game without it (Yes you have to kill all children)

And delete xLCR.esp it is a test esp for modders.  It will not fix your problem, but you don't nedd the esp.

Ok ty, I'll try that. And yes I did, I added the TamagoNews.esp a little while back and just yesterday removed Hiyokogrow because I realized it says it's incompatable to Geneforge, but I only removed Hiyokogrow after the above described CTD was taking place. I now get the warning about clean-up, now that I fixed my load order (which I did before making my post), but the CTD was happening before that.

Maybe you missed the warning when starting the game, did something else, it happened to me too.

 

You have to try with new children and not changed load order. And if still CTD you deactivate the Mods I mentioned.  And best always with a new game ! A bug can be in your save file.  When a new game works you can try old saves. And if the old save CTD you know the bug is in the save, you have to try older saves or start a new game.
