DCL MCM not appearing

Deviously Cursed Loot's MCM is not showing up for me. it was appearing for me yesterday, but after I installed SLAL (I didn't realize it was separate from Sexlab) it's no longer appearing, even if I use MCM Kicker or the reset MCM command. some help in figuring this out would be appreciated. I want to turn off the actual cursed loot part and the intrusive sex dialogue and just use the scenarios it has. It could also be something other than SLAL, I'm just realizing that I didn't really check too much yesterday after installing some other things, but SLAL is also having MCM troubles so I thought it might be related. I can get SLAL's MCM to show up after running the command though, while DCL still doesn't appear

Where do I find that and what would I be looking for? I'm not super familiar with Papyrus logs

Errors related to the scripts in SkyUI or DCL. Use your mod manager to compile a list of the pex files in each. Search for these in a Papyrus log that was generated during a session where you tried to open the MCM.
