Shadowheart Night Orchid Dialogue Problem [ SOLVED ]

Went on the Act 1 date with Shadowheart and did not get the dialogue about night orchids.

after the date i discovered that in that game she would never tell me that dialogue.  i somehow just "know" 

she worships Shar, but she never told me. i get specific dialogue that references her Shar worship so cannot

get the night orchid dialogue from her.

 

Tiefling Bard took a 1 level dip into Cleric (War Priest of Selune)

did not discover she worships Shar

went on date night

after date night i get the Cleric of Selune specific dialogue talking about relationship

as the game now reads as went on the date and has progressed past the night orchid dialogue i cannot get it at all.

 

SOLUTION

 

as a Cleric of Selune you must discover Shadowheart worships shar and get the night orchid dialogue BEFORE going on the date night.

the one spot that is gaurenteed to give you a chance to discover Shadowheart worships Shar (if you have not already) is in the Owlbear Cave.

after you read the Selunite Prayer Sheet (to unlock the chest) Shadowheart will get an Inspiration point at this time, make a save game before opening the chest. 

when you open the chest Shadowheart will interrupt telling  you not to open it. 

if you choose the "But why?" option it leads to an Insight (15) check to discover she worships Shar.

after discovering Shadowheart worships Shar you can choose the "worhsip who you want we have bigger problems" option.

then you can ask Shadowheart about herself leading to the night orchid dialogue (i did this in camp).
