Atlas Sinclair Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 Alright, so for anyone wondering 'what the fuck is this guy even on about?' I'm going to give a link to a Fallout New Vegas that is basically what I'm suggesting. In lieu of the more advanced options that we will (Hopefully) have in the future, why not try to work on a simple, text based mod that adds some spicy content to tide things over while we all wait? I've tried looking into it myself; tried to use the Vampire dreams script to make a wet-dreams type mod, for instance, but the Construction Kit is so damn alien to me. I was hoping that there might be something in the original Oblivion that I could look up to use as a reference, but... Well, it looks like this sort of thing is only popular with Fallout modding. >_> Other things I tried was to make a spell with a message attached when cast, but that one got me stumped even more, text based fast travel encounters, and items that would have scripts attached to them to activate other messages. Unfortunately, it seems the GECK is the only modding tool I know how to use where I can do this stuff myself... So, if anyone else might be interested in peeking into the game's scripts to do the same thing, but just hadn't thought of it themselves, I figured I'd throw this out there. Oblivion's lacking in some spicy content right now, and with how long it could potentially take to get anything of real substance going, I think something like this could at least add a little bit of fun while we all wait for the community to work it's magic to give us what Skyrim has. 2
DSHV Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 I was planning to make a mod in my style for Skyblivion, but if I can do it in the remaster, I'll try to do it with textboxes. I already did that with Starfield. In a way, I want to do remakes of a lot of Oblivion Lovers quest mods (Or at least in their spirit). Here are my plans if you are interested.
