Devious devices not being added to inventory

Title says it all. Whenever I try to add a large chunk of any of the items from devious devices or it's addons, whether through asking to be bound at laura's bondage shop, or through console commands/add item menu, they don't get added to my inventory. and in some cases, if I'm fast enough in the case of adding them with add item menu, I see them just vanish from my inventory. That is the correct log, yes. Given the amount of errors DD spews up in the log, looks like your install of DD is corrupted/incomplete because it can't find some important scripts.

I tried re-downloading it and reinstalling it from the mod page, and it's still not working.

 

Idk if it's necessary, but here is the papyrus log after the reinstall. Idk if there is somewhere other than the mod page I should be downloading it from. I just want to get it working right.

If you are using DDNG, you need to install DD5.2 for SE first, if that's what you mean. And all of their requirements.

 

Also wouldn't hurt to make sure they are actually installed to the correct path when you are done.

I have DD5.2.7 and all its requirements installed. I feel like I need DDNG because when I boot up my game while it's not installed, I get this prompt.

I wish I knew what's wrong and how to fix it. I'm completely stuck and stumped. I really want to be bound whilst getting fucked by a dragon, XD.

 

Edit: @Taki17 Is there somewhere other than the main mod page I should be downloading Devious Devices from? Is 5.2.7 not the correct version I should be using?

 Install DD NG on top of DD 5.2:

FYI 5.2.7 is not the version number, that's from the file name, because it's 'Devious Devices [SE][AE][VR] 5.2' and it has a .7z extension.

Just reinstalled and started a new save. Now everything's working. Idk what the fuck I did differently, but at least it works now. Time to get shagged by a dragon whilst wearing a straitjacket, XD.
