Sleeping Sims

Hi, I'm having trouble with characters being invited to a house for the night.

Some characters go to bed peacefully when they feel like sleeping. The remaining heroes do everything they can to avoid sleeping on the bed and fall to the ground from lack of strength.

what is responsible for this? Maybe some specific character trait? All characters have ideal relationships with their household members, which are certainly not the basis. There are also plenty of beds in the house and they are free.

For example, I invited character A 5 times, and he fell asleep on the floor 5 times. Character B went to bed 5 times. I have a best friend relationship with each character.

I'm not sure what causes it. It seems to just be a bug with the game as far as I can tell, rather than anything trait related. You can work around the issue with Buzzler's Moar Interactions mod though. The mod adds Go To Bed With and Come To Bed interactions. It was intended that those interactions only work with 2 sims in a romantic relationship, but I've found that it's possible to use the Come To Bed interaction even if they aren't.

Are the sims being invited all the same age? Without mods, teens and children will not sleep in the same bed as an adult, and vice versa. Teens will not sleep in bed with an unrelated teen.

 

The NRaas SleepFreedom mod will let any two sims sleep in the same bed, regardless of relationship or age.

If worse comes to worse - make them active - tell them to go to bed - and switch back to the 'OG household. You may even get a notification of WHY if they can't. Play smarter, not harder.
