Accessing Korean site from UK

I have used the 'Tullius' site from South Korea for a number of years and have a login account.

I can use the site but the moment I click on an entry, I get a legal block.

 

Does anyone know if this is UK censorship? Or is this a Arca / Akaraive block?  I know they had to block some country access due to pressure from governments.

 

Curious to know if the UK is censoring me.

You are receiving the error because the page includes objectionable content that is blocked by your country.  You can likely browse to https://arca.live/b/tullius/ with no problem, but you'll get the 451 error if you open a page with objectionable content.  You can access those pages by:

 

1.  Installing a VPN.

2.  Configure your VPN to be used on all apps.

3.  Select Tokyo, Japan as your connection location in your VPN settings.

4.  Once connected, reload the main page at https://arca.live/b/tullius/  (not the direct link of the page you're trying to reach).  Then either enter the link or search for the mod.

 

If it is still refusing connection it is because your VPN is not being used by your browser and you need to review the configuration settings.  They're all different in how they do this.  South Korea won't work as a location with my VPN.  Japan may enact laws that make it inaccessible at some point so this may not work forever.  Some of the content on that site is quite vile.

Thank you. Yes, I can set up a VPN; I've got one handy. 

What I am having issues over is the fact the UK might be blocking a web site. I hope it isn't. This is supposed to be the country of free speech.

It will be down to this bollocks that recently came into effect in the UK:

I suspect the Korean site is blocking 'adult' content from being viewed from the UK from fear of big fines. Expect similar to occur with other websites
