Need Help/Advice with SexLab --> OStim SA conversions

Recommended Posts

I am working on my mod-list currently and evaluating which sex frameworks I want to use. I have been testing with both OStim StandAlone and SexLab P+ and with some major caveats, I think I prefer OStim StandAlone. Now I know you can install them both and I have done so on my test machine. I have even considered running both of them together but due to compatability issues with other related mods I would rather just stick with one of the frameworks (with the possible addition of ZAZ later).

The major issue, of course, with OStim SA is that if you want any of the nonconsensual stuff (stuff that you can get with SexLabs) it's unsupported. It IS available for OStim StandAlone but there are some issues with the conversions and that's what this post is about. Also, due to the package contents, I can't get help on this from the OStim discord channel.

I am currently working with the following Sexlab conversions from this site:

For this discussion, I will just be talking about Vol 1: Funnybiz set of animations but this issue exists for all of these packages.

The issue I am seeing lies in the OStim StandAlone navigation menu. The issue with these animations seems to be mostly with animations when the player is a Female character. When you are in a FM scene you can access all  of the animations for that via the FunnyBiz FM hub and everything works great. However if you are trying any other combination (FMM, FMMM, FMMMM) and navigate to the FunnyBiz hub in the OStim navigation menu the hubs are all empty and no animations are listed underneath. The think is that I know these animations exist and work because there is an animation search by keyword function where I can enter in something like FMM and see all the animations that have that... and there are a TON... but inaccessible via the menu. Its very frustrating.

I thought this must be a load order issue or a conflict with another OStim package maybe so I installed OStim SA on a test build along with just the Funnybiz package with the same result.I have reached out to the author of the package and while I am still hopeful I will get a response, I am considering if it's even possible for me to fix this myself. Sadly, this is definitely not my area of expertise and so I thought I would start by reaching out to this forum and see if this is even feasible and perhaps get some advice on where to begin.

Also, I would love it if anyone else is working with this specific OStim SA package and if you can choose the FMM, FMMM, FMMMM scenes to work via the menu. I can't imagine that the issue is on my end but it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility. Remember to test with a Female player character. When the player is a male player, it seems like (at least from what I have tested) most of these animations are available in the menus.
