Kenshi Immersive Asari settlers

I made this for my last playthrough and I think its good enough to share. I remember it working well, but I haven't played in a while so feedback on any issues is appreciated

 

The purpose of this mod is to introduce the Asari race to the moon of Kenshi in an immersive way, making the Leviathan Coast region feel less isolated and more viable as a base location, while not oversaturating the biome with towns and stuff.

 

It includes: 

-A medium-sized village in the Leviathan Coast region (about the size of the fishing village in the northern coast)

-Several shops selling food and useful materials

-Asari bar recruits

-Wandering squads in Leviathan Coast you can recruit as temporary bodyguards

-Asari merchant raid events for outposts in the region

-A wanted Asari hidden somewhere 

-Extra details on the chest area ( ͡°  ͜ʖ  ͡°)

 

Asari npcs still rarely spawn as slaves throughout the world

 

Requirements: 

 Asari Hard requirement

Asari Nude mod for the body textures

Cat's Swamp Armor for the outfits, otherwise they'll all be naked!

 

Hint for the bounty:

Look for a remote island along the coast in the northwest of the map

1.2 - Added a plastic surgeon to the bar.

        Added an Asari mercenary squad to the bar.

        Changed some faction settings in the FCS. Hopefully that will prevent the NPCs from attacking random wildlife.

 

1.1a - Fixed the wanderer start, forgot I messed with it to test the mod.

i started as wanderer instead going to the hub i went straight to the village and also had robotic legs and 90 stats.

And... what normal nude mod do you use? the most popular one is not compatible with asari mod and the nude texture of asari arent working

Apparently I modified the wanderer start to test my mod and completely forgot about it 😅, I fixed it, check the updated file.

 

About the nude textures, did you make sure to install the mods in the correct order? it should be:

Asari

Asari nude

My mod

 

What I actually did though was overwrite the textures in the original mod with the ones from the nude patch, to avoid having to load another mod.

tried out, it worked but... the wanderer although is back at the hub, still has 90 stats the big sword and robotic legs.

also when using pants of any kind it make hands disappear, must be an incompatibility with "yet another nude mode"

I forgot to revert the changes done to the actual character used in the wanderer start, it's fixed now.

 

The issue with invisible hands appears on humans or asari? this mod doesn't touch anything in the vanilla races. Either way, I couldn't recreate the problem in my end. For reference, I use Nude Male Ken Doll Textures instead of YAKNM for better compatibility with armor mods.

Also, does the problem persist if you disable my mod and its requirements?

it seems that YAKNM is the culprit, is not compatible with asari mod or others that affect bodies.

it affects all females. So i decided to get the nudemod 18+ vanilla which is similar but doesn't have male with dong.

i took a closer look and it's the male body from YAKNM that messes with the bodies due to display a color for the dong.

using the only female version gave no problem

Ah that's it then, I'm using a version of YAKNM that only affects females, didn't know about that other mod. If you want full male nudity you can couple the ken doll mod with this

Apparently the Asari race mod includes a body parts map that automatically applies to females of all other races. Try installing this mod below the Asari race.

hey... The fix works! thanks!

 

meanwhile i tried a bit more the village and I'm afraid is in a bad position. I stayed for half a day(ingame) and the village is constantly being attacked by raptors and garru(they always get provoked) wiping the village quite fast. maybe in a place where doesn't have much wild life running amok would work, like more up north near the shore more isolated.

Interesting, I haven't seen them fighting the garru before, I did enable coexistence between them in the FCS, but I guess that wasn't enough.

I'll see if I can remedy this without changing the whole town. Check the update, I tweaked some faction settings and tested for an in-game day without any fights. Hopefully that did something.

I tested your mod, first of all thank you for the interesting mod in general everything works but there are some comments 1- where is the head of the faction how to join the faction? I started as a settler Azari and I have a relationship to the faction 0 and in the settlement can not use beds and there are no training dummies.
2 packs of animals are constantly running around the settlement, literally transiting from one gate to another it is strange
3 here most likely because of my mods but also strange - in the settlement there is a character who sells hashish, in the city sometimes come small groups of techno hunters and some fishermen, at first they just drank in the bar but once I saw that the guards shouted that something about buying hashish and attacked the techno hunters, in general it is unclear periodically there are such fights and how to stop it I do not know (
4 in the settlement there is no sale of armor and weapons, at least not even the same swamp armor in which the Azari walks

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to answer some of your questions

1- I didn't intend for this mod to have an organized faction with a leader and training grounds, rather just a bit of civilization to make the Leviathan Coast region a bit more livable. Do you think it's lacking in this matter? I could add a start where you're already allied to them.

 

2- There's no animals assigned to the city, If you mean they are entering from one gate and exiting on the other side, it's base game behavior and they just run around the region like that.

 

3- I've never seen this reaction to buying hashish in my game, it might be an mod. Either way, I will check the guards dialogue in the FCS.

 

4- Like I said before, I didn't want to make a big city or bloat the village with too much unnecessary stuff. If you think its missing something essential though, feel free to point out and I'll see if I can add it.

Thanks for the answer , I understand your idea of a small village on the edge of the world but I was in such settlements in vanilla and the animals there in packs across the city do not run )))
