Golgo13 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I'm not sure if my mods are hopelessly screwed-up, or, if I can easily fix them (somehow). They're close to working; they even used to work better than this; but, for some reason, they stopped doing so. The immersion-breaking problem is that the sex animations always start out of alignment-- they might appear to be on opposite ends of the room, practically floating in mid-air, until I use the controls to correct them. The mod doesn't appear to store corrections that should be applied, henceforth, to all animations. That's a relatively minor annoyance, however, compared to what happens to my Lover's Comfort NPC's, who may be on the other side of interior walls, causing them to appear to be having sex with ghosts. Another issue I'm having, which may suggest a problem with SD, or may just be part of how SD interacts with the other mods within the Sexlab framework, is that, unlike in previous games, after characters comment on my 'toon's nudity (despite the "No Naked Comments" mod), she isn't attacked by the person making the comment. I mentioned this issue in the SD thread; but, I got no takers... so, I still have zero information on whether or not this is "normal." I've followed the instructions for "cleaning" Sexlab, but, so far, the problem has persisted. BOSS sees no problems. I have the latest version of FNIS, and it finds no problems, either. To be fair, it must be difficult to locate "errors" when, in all likelihood, no error messages are being generated, anywhere. jap2015 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I had the same alignment issue and also a long lag entering the animations. I tried but was unable to clean sexlab through the MCM menu. Tried loading earlier clean saves only to find the same result.. What resolved my issue was I just uninstalled and reinstalled all the required mods needed for sexlab,Redid my load order, regenerated FNIS, loaded a earlier known good save. Then I was able to perform the sexlab cleaning. Did a save and reload and everything was back to normal. Please, don't pretend I know what I'm doing, this did however work for me.

Corrections used to be stored; now, they are not. @ jap2015: Many times in the past, the only way I could find to fix Sexlab problems was to nuke my whole game from the base folders and totally reinstall, then restart a new game. I've done it so many times that I'm thoroughly sick of going through the first part if the game. I want to clear the Dawnstar quest line to play Vampiric Thirst (since it hopelessly screwed-up my game when I needed to uninstall it when I needed to stop being a vampire part-way through the Dawnstar quest line). But, of course, I have to play the earlier quest line to get the dragon elder scroll... my game is screwed-up, now, just as I've finally managed to get that scroll, so I was still MILES away from completing the Dawnstar quest line-- I hadn't even started it, yet. I'm getting so frustrated with this! I'm just venting here-- it's not directed at you, or at anyone, really... but, it seems as though your experience with this stuff is similar to mine, so, my only totally safe course of action will be another totally clean installation of Skyrim, and ANOTHER run at getting the dragon elder scroll, then completing the Dawnstar quest line, before Sexlab goes buggy on me, again-- which I'm starting to suspect is a statistical impossibility. Perhaps, I shouldn't install Sexlab until after I complete the Dawnstar quest line? Or, have I just had a few runs of bad luck? How often does Sexlab self-destruct? Given the replies, I'm pretty discouraged, and kind of resigned to the fact that I'll have to nuke my game, again. But, I'll wait a bit... perhaps, someone else may know a bit more and have a solution. All that my extremely limited knowledge of this stuff permits me to do is nuke the game files, again-- after that, I'm leaning toward playing a vanilla game through Dawnstar, saving the entire thing onto an external drive, then installing Sexlab, again. But, I'll need a vacation from Skyrim for that-- I can't take the tedium of playing through all of this stuff, AGAIN, and without the Sexlab stuff thrown in to mix stuff up a bit, to boot-- at least for a while. * I'm still waiting in hopes that someone may have a better solution to my problem than my old, dumbass standby, the nuclear option, followed this time by grinding my way back up until I finish the Dawnstar quest line. At the moment, I can't make up my mind whether I miss playing the game more than I hate the idea of reinstalling everything, starting a new game, and playing it basically vanilla all the way through Dawnstar. But, I realize that, if not for the tedious grinding through stuff I just finished, I'd rather play Skyrim a lot more than the other games I have; so, I'll probably just give up and get on with it if I don't get a ray of hope from anyone, soon. *Sigh* ** O.k., I give up. I don't think that anyone's coming to the rescue for me at this point; so, I'll just raze it all to the ground and start over, AGAIN, and blitz through vanilla until I finish Dawnstar. I just can't get into any of my other games-- I've really been looking forward to trying Vampiric Thirst.

After a lot of trial and error, I used TESV ESS and has currently resolved a lot of issues I was having, including any alignment problems. Don't know long term effects. It might be worth a try....If it's not to late I found it on the other web site
