RobinByrd Posted February 26, 2025 Posted February 26, 2025 After the Sims 4 updated (and before I installed the updated Wicked Whims mod), I downloaded the latest Nevely 42 animations. When it became available, I downloaded and installed the latest Wicked Whims mod (uninstalling the prior version first). Now I find my male Sim has a black (sometimes piebald black and white) penis (though he is not black). I have no penis mod installed and I tried (as suggested by Wicked Whims help) searching my animations for the words, "skin" and "tone", with nothing found. The black penis shows up whether or not I'm running an animation (even when my Sim is just walking around naked). I'd appreciate any suggestions about fixing this. Thanks for reading. 1
misswillie Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 I am experiencing the same issue, I have.
Uxel09 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 I have the same problem on my sim. I've tried removing the mod that changed my penis and it's still the same, but I always see it black.
lisalettuce Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Have the problem too using Noir's pornstar cock and the default maxis, solved by changing skin color. 1
hotaru7usagi Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 I'm having the same issue. I don't have any penis mods and have even made a sim from scratch. The problem appears to be with the specific skin tones themselves as opposed to specific mods.
RobinByrd Posted March 14, 2025 Author Posted March 14, 2025 Well, having waited patiently in vain, hoping for a suggested solution, guess I'll soon start my own course of treatment. First, I'm planning to delete the mods and animations, and then start over on those. If that doesn't do it, guess I'll uninstall the game and start the whole thing over.
Husk Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 and remove the localsimtexturecache.package. See if that helps!
RobinByrd Posted March 17, 2025 Author Posted March 17, 2025 Bingo! (at least for now, and I hope for good). A BIG thanks to Husk for taking the time and trouble to share some expertise. 🫡 1
