NebulaNine Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I made a custom follower and used a hairstyle from Apachii Sky Hair. The follower requires 3 master files along with the 2 basic Skyrim masters to work and I was wondering if it is possible to somehow extract the specific hairstyle that I used so that the follower doesn't require the master files from Apachii and will still retain their appearance.
Groovtama Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Use TES5Edit: You just have to copy on override the records for the hair styles you need for the follower into the followers plugin, mark muliple records -> change formid -> select the follower plugin so the stuff gets renumbered to the follwerer plugin owned record numbers, when TES5Edit ask for change referenced record rereference the records that the follower uses to the new formids. Sort and clean Masters -> Save -> done.^^ Change paths and copy files if you want to make them completly standalone, if you want or leave the default one, if you have the hairs in a bsa file you have to unpack them and install them loose.

How would I got about removing Apachii Sky Hair as a master file? When I try to load up the follower in the CK even with the Apachii masters unchecked the just check themselves for some reasons and I can't un-link them to the follower esp.
Groovtama Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 If there is no referencing to the files anymore TES5Edit will clean them with "clean masters" from the plugin that's why the copy stuff has to be done so the records aren't only in the other plugin anymore, the renumbering has to be done so the game thinks they are new records not records for editing in other plugins, and the rereferencing is that the follower still works, Clean master will do the deleting of the masters by itself, and the plugin will load without apachii because it's not a needed as a master anymore.
