They wont give a direct rssponse to that lol. By the way it's said they will make boob physics in future update and the first dlc would be free fyi.

Honestly they don't even need to support mods openly but if they could just include UNIVRM and UNIGLTF (https://github.com/vrm-c/UniVRM/releases) in their release with assets built I can implement modding with just a code mod. I think to add it myself to a game that doesnt have the package is doable but more work. Might need to include an assetbundle. Other than that if they could just not use encrypted global metadata that would be nice. 

 

I feel like that response is just polite way of saying no without saying no, but if they actually WANT to support it they can look at Taboo Trials as an example. they shipped a unity project sdk with character models and rig tools

Even openly supporting mods could be an issue if there's a bunch of nude mods. The devs themselves are probably horny as fuck like every chinese dev but probably cant openly do anything

This is not the case. For example, games such as Snowbreak: Containment Zone(尘白禁区), The Killing Antidote(致命解药), and Bloody Spell(嗜血印) all have official sexy costumes and community adult MODs.

it ether has very little interest or its hard to mod as haven't seen any mod samples yet... not even a test mod.

you mean snowbreak that famously got censored (even though it unofficially has nude mods, that has nothing to do with the devs), killing antidote does have nudity but its made by two people funded on patreon and they're basically just trying to stay low key. They even say on steam not to post screenshots of nudity. If china doesnt know about them or doesnt see it as a problem if its not getting too much attention then they can get away with it. Bloody spell has no nudity without mods and is also 1 guy

 

AI limit is not indie. Sense studios has a publisher and the playstation release got announced 6 years ago. they're no mihoyo but they're not comparable to those indies.

it shouldn't be exceptionally hard. I've made but not completed a model I just havent had time to work on the rest. I've even offered to help with ingame part if someone makes models but no interest 🫠

 

honestly I really need to find a work partner who can make models. we'd get so much done that's not possible for just me

yeah, found a mod but its under a paywall, Plus the account shared six mods for six games within a few days so not going to buy that as I think their stolen...

I've completed the base nude model and the dlc outfit but unity setup was giving issues so it's on hold until I feel like sitting down and finishing my gltf/vrm loader which is lower priority than stellar blade whoops

Yeah I've had that for a while. I was working on getting the gltf and vrm plugins working. I actually had them loading as melonloader mods and could call the methods from unity explorer but there were some compatibility issues and due to life circumstances I've had to step away from everything. If I were to give it another go I might try to just load my mesh off screen and replace the graphics buffers as they get unmapped from the CPU. I'm not super familiar with il2cpp and the lack of consistency between games is annoying compared to unreal so I was having trouble finding the right path to consistently get the players animator reference. But I realized that instead it might be better to search for the camera and upload custom shaders using these core unity functions https://docs.unity3d.com/2020.3/Documentation/Manual/SL-ShaderReplacement.html

To be clear if I went to the effort to make this I'd want it to be reusable in other unity games. If you just want to mod this game you don't need any of this, you can just modify the asset bundles lol
