ger4 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Does anyone here have any experience in creating OBSE (or SKSE of NVSE) plugins/have any experience with C++? The author of Blockhead http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43752 unfortunately doesn't want to create an armor/clothing override and such a thing would prove to be a cool and useful feature. It would be really cool if someone could write a small one off plugin to cover this, maybe by creating alternative versions of the SetFemaleBipedPath and SetMaleBipedPath commands that override the base object mesh file paths with a ref based one that only persists for as long as the game is running. Cheers guys.
Symon Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 If Shademe doesn't want to tackle it, that might be because it's a really horrendous task.
D_ManXX2 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 i am out of the loop when it comes to oblivion mods and tools, what is this blockhead and what is so good about it ??

ger4 Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 i am out of the loop when it comes to oblivion mods and tools, what is this blockhead and what is so good about it ?? Blockhead's an OBSE plugin that allows per-NPC and scripted body mesh (real body meshes, not just bodysuits) as well as Per-NPC body textures, and a load of other things.
Symon Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 It allows body/head mesh/texture and animation swaps by race/sex/npcref at load time or by script. In short it's amazing if you want race/sex/individual NPC transformations and appearance customizations. It obsoleted the body parts as clothing technique that was the only way to accomplish this before.
