Familiar Desires

---

A simple mod that enables incestual interactions for adults down to 16 years old.

 

Inspired by this outdated mod, however works a bit differently.
Instead of changing each scheme individually this mod changes a hard rule trigger in common/scripted_triggers/00_romance_and_seduction_triggers.txt.
This allows all incest interactions, be that seduction from the interaction menu, or royal court related events to behave as if the individuals were over 20.

 

The latest officially supported version is: 1.19
The mod will work in other versions, provided the edited trigger file was not altered between versions.

You have to go into the txt file (not the folder) to change the path name.

Hi, this is my first time installing this mod, could you give me more info about the path I'm supposed to change in the .txt file ? 

EDIT : Nevermind, I found it by trying stuff, I edited the path in the familiar_desire.mod that linked to the folder (copying from the properties of said folder), and changed all the "\" for "/"

what did you do to fix it? it wont work for me with copying the path and changing the /

Edited the familiar_desire.mod file with Notepad+, copied the directory for the familiar_desire folder from the properties, and paste in to replace the default directory in Notepad+, I saw then that the untouched part of the directory had "/" so I replaced the "\" to match... then I reloaded the entirerty of my mod via the mod management panel and checked the "clear cache" option on that

I think I uploaded a wrong test version I had for myself (very dumb, I know)
New version should work... I think.

The reason it got messed up was because my ck3 launcher automatically converts paths in all my .mod files to my local documents path. Instead of keeping a custom path that works for all users it gets replaced to the non working one. If anyone knows how to disable that, please let me know

Go to the properties of the .mod file and check the “Read-only” box.

Familiar Desires fully supports 1.15 as no romance related triggers were changed by paradox.

The mod has been updated and now supports 1.16

The mod only makes a very small change to one file that is then being overwritten. If another mod also wants to override that file it probably has a better reason than this mod has and as such should take priority.

tl;dr: put the mod towards the top of your modlist

Such a question, maybe someone knows, literally 2 lines that do not affect interactions are changing in the fashion file, there is no access to access, etc. From the age of 16. I think the author of the fashion knows what kind of or who, I wanted to take as a basis because I need to raise this age to 28-32 on the contrary and that it would not be about 18 grow up, and interactions opened only to 30, whether it is possible to somehow increase or reduce the time of childhood and education or interaction, pregnancy, etc., have already become available from 12 as the earliest affordable age in the game itself, I make dwofr and goblins, but just a difference growth and trait without binding to age are somehow very inconvenient.

I just have never seen someone to change these variables in terms of age, in any fashion an adult is 18 and interactions also begin with 18, only this mod comes across when I try to find the necessary information.

The mod works as intended with the current latest version of ck3.
It will enable the incestuous interactions with 16 to 19 year olds that were previously only available to 20+ year olds.
The mod will never enable any child interactions. If that is what you want then you will have to look elsewhere.

The mod only changes a trigger regarding incestual interactions. It does not change the regular interactions.
