About the following mod:


Having trouble deciding what to prioritize, and having gotten feedback on the thread and via dm on what people want to see, I thought of making a poll to see what people wanted.
If something else is more important, it can also simply be mentioned in the thread.

I played a bit. It's a decent mod, but I found it odd how it's split into two completely different storylines. Why not release them as separate mods instead?

On my end, I prefer slaver storyline. There is already PAHE/Diary of Mine slave mods that deal with large number of generic slaves, with lot of variables. 

Maybe something more focused on slavery but from narrative side of thing, with more emphasis on fleshing out fewer characters. Something like branching storyline where you can either try to remove the curse ( Love path), or further progress it by subverting slaves to player character ( Lust path). And seeing how characters develop and react on either side of the narrative.

Very promising mod! I did enjoy both standalone quests, but the Curse of Sivr is closer to my personal taste and brings me good memories as it has some resemblance of Yuriana the buxom wench, which is one of my favorite mods of all time. Now, Yuriana was great in all parts, but and the end it fails to deliver a slavery system the player would have been able to continue playing after the main quest was over. I hope this mod could grow and deliver such a system. Let me expand a bit. 

 

1. On the narrative side, you can brainstorm and find a way to "bring in" many ladies with interesting stories and twists. The sky is the limit and you can add more quests progressively as your creativity delivers. The mini-quests "destined battle", "a puppet stage show", and more are good blueprints.

 

2. On the core system side. you have already much in place. I would like to see the player to gain the curse "power" as a spell from the mage. With the spell, it could bring more girls into the organization for services.  There is no point to duplicate the slavery system of Diary of Mine/PAHE as they work quite well as they are. Your system should bring some fresh ideas, like the cursed slave must provide services (prostitution? or more even a standard follower?) to stay alive. If the master does not provide xxx (a blessing? or some rare items?) to the slave within a certain time period, the slave will die. Or the master could always release the slave to freedom or sell for cash. Let's keep the bounding and tracking system simple as for the scripting. The point here is to find a repeatable engagement for the player to "procure" new girls into this organization. You can bring this in any direction . Again, this is the area that Yuriana mod did not deliver at the end of the main quest.  With Yuriana you had some devices and potions to control the wenches. A collar to enslave. I would be nice to have those here as well.

Either PC enslaved, or PC undercover as a slave to investigate would be interesting.

 

One idea: To investigate, need someone to pretend to be a slaver, and to make it convincing need someone to pretend to be a slave. PC can volunteer to pretend to be the slave and let some NPC pretend to be the slaver, or switch. Then you can have one quest with two paths and share a lot of logic, any scenes could be re-used just switching the aliases around, and dialogue at the quest set up and ending could be mostly the same

Good question and this has like 3 reasons:

  • I hate wasting time trying to get body meshes working. This is currently still insanely scuffed in the current version but It's something I really want as body variety makes a huge difference in how it feels to play. Having to do it once instead of twice saves me a lot of trouble.
  • I expected people with interest in 1 storyline, to also have interest in the other.
  • I can make the storylines cross over, and use characters of 1 in the other which i think is cool :)

It's a very distant goal, but I'm planning the final decision of the Sivr questline to be the choice to either burn the place down, or continue it yourself. Learning the curse yourself will come a bit earlier but will be restricted to mod NPC's until I get the mental fortitude to try and script something more advanced.

I've already started and it will be completely different, but branch at the end of the "Scarred Past" quest. As I believe player choice is everything in a quest, the quest system structure is set up around the amount of "corruption" you acquire. You could choose all the options that give more corruption, with the quest becoming more degrading. Or you can choose to try to avoid corruption, hanging on to a thread, and try to escape.

Thanks for the feedback, it's pretty clear what choices are being favored, I'll continue the 2 existing lines, but will expand on the enslaved part first.

Not that you necessarily need it, or that you should use it for the mod, but have you seen this mod?
