Does anyone else run into an issue where the followers aren't properly registered with nether's follower framework? I keep adding mom to my party but she doesn't show up in the NFF follower slot

Yes, I am also running into this issue. I can't even force her as follower.

Besides this issue I have found If you dismiss her while manually added to NFF she does not leave, fist one has to remove her from NFF via dialogue, then dismiss her.

I had this working a year ago, when there were still instructions and requirements. It is a fun mod.

I almost have it working --- found the sister outside the stables, but (1) she won't join looking for the other two and (2) when I go to where mother is, the game freezes. So I'm dong something wrong.

So... anyone have all the required mods and such? I got it to where there's no missing masters in vortex, but I clearly did something wrong.

Also, the thread that was deleted had instructions on how to change the appearance of the family. Is that now lost?

Try enabling just the follower & family mods + MILFS and there's no reason that shouldn't work. You can troubleshoot from there, or if you still need help, post about it here. - Something specific isn't working It's a first release and we're eager to get your feedback. Please just be specific about what's wrong and provide as much detail as possible. 'Doesn't work' doesn't help us fix your problem. - Can you add/do/change xyz? Maybe! And it never hurts to ask. But the plan is to work on the individual family members before doing anything but bugfixes for MILFS. And at the moment, we have no plans to add any other family members. I remember specifically from the original instructions that LOOT would sort them properly and it worked for me.

You likely willl need to use xedit/sseedit to modify her armor, because faroda screwed that up too. I typically copy the path to the male armor in her 01_cuirass section of her Armor Addon and change her female biped model from armor\Miya armor\CT77torso_1.nif (which doesn't work) to Armor\Nightingale\F\Torso_1.nif. You will also need to do the same for her boots, and potentially her gauntlets, but I don't remember that part.

 

I did notice that loading the destandalone made her face much more reflective/shiny than it is if you just use farada's fomod. If there is some way around that I would love to know, but so far it seems to be a necessary evil if you aren't using 3BA as your default body.

So why don't you package that a help those of us who don't know how to use SSEEdit?! I know I would appreciate it.

Unfortunately I can't load the CK. It crashes on startup.  I can try to make step-by-step instructions for SSEEdit.

 

1. Launch SSE Edit after installing Miya and the destandalone mod.

2. When the module selection menu comes up type in "Miya" in the filter.

3. Double click in Miya_Follower.esp

4. Wait for it to load.

5. After it loads click on the + on the left for the ESP

6. Click on the + of the Armor Addon section

7. Click into the 01_Cuirass section

8. Double click on the Male Biped Model section.

9. A warning popup will appear. 

10. Click I am absolutely sure.

11. Copy the content from the Male Biped Model section (do not delete anything)

12. Double click into the Female Biped Model section.

13. Paste what you copied, and then change the M to F in what you pasted.

14. Repeat this process for the 01_Boots section and the 01_Gloves section, copying the Male entry, pasting it into the female entry, and replacing the M with an F.

Here. For those that want a fix that isn't Seraevys fix that makes the face shinier than the body and don't know how to deal with xEdit. I didn't see anything regarding her Armor that needed fixing. Chances are, the armor is only there if you don't choose the default option in the FOMOD when installing the follower mod. I chose the default option and simply corrected the mesh and texture file paths for her body. I did nothing to alter her appearance, so everything will be based soley your meshes and textures.

Is there an easy way to edit which NPC the mod refers to in SSEedit or does that requre Creation kit changes to the esp, ie change which Follower is affected? I have minimal knowlage other than editing NPC apperance

 

I am trying to get the Your Mother in Skyrim.esp to effect  this NPC https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80875.

 

I have a bad work around editing https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/98374 that works for everyting but playerdialogue.

anyway, for future people, after fighting CTDs and incredibly invisible spiders (but NO OTHER ENTITIES go invisible like that, and no, I DON'T have a spider replacer) trying to figure this out, this is the "order" for them to load and (should hopefully) be at the Whiterun stable (sister), in the Riften Temple of Mara (daughter), and in the Morthal inn (mother).

Actually I typed that wrong, "getting old ain't for sissies", :cool: , a big oops.... what I should have said was place that after the other files so it would take precedence, should not have said last load.

I use fertility mode, not fertility adventures and it works fine for me, I just have a hard time with all the dialogue they say all the time, even when the three are apart they still talk like the others are present, gets annoying.
