RushTX Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 I posted this previously but did not get any responses, so I was not sure if I added it to the correct section/forum. I tried updating WW recently, to the 12/22 version. However when I did and opened the game, it can't access any of my animations. I have literally thousands of them. Never had a problem with any previous updates. I was able to go back ro the previous version, and that works fine. The only time WW appears on the pie menu is if I click on a Sim. It's not there if I click on the floor or any object. Before I tried the new update, I had all of my animations in a single folder called Animations. I changed that to have a folder for each animator/creator, as I saw that setup in a video while trying to troubleshoot the problem. This didn't make any difference. So I'm on the 11/18 version of WW now, which as I said is working fine. But I would really like to get some of the new features in the newest update. (I always update the same way: extract the files, delete the WW mod folder from mods, and then move the new one over to mods folder.) I downloaded the Better Exceptions mod, and it created a report for me. It indicated there was a problem with the tuning file - \WickedWhimsMod\TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package; and said "Delete it from your mods folder or see if the author has an updated version." It gives this for the Reason: Exception during call to test method on <class 'sims4.tuning.instances.TURBODRIVER:WickedWhims_Sex_ChangeAnimation_Playlist'> (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'values') The report didn't indicate any broken or invalid CC. It did find several duplicate files in my mods folder, which I've since deleted. I'd appreciate any help to get v183a working. And do let me know if there is something else I should add to this post that would be more helpful in diagnosing the problem/issue. Thanks!
Husk Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 Do you have any exception files you could send? Also, can you send a screenshot of the message that pops up when you load into the game, that shows how many sex animations you've got installed?
RushTX Posted January 5, 2025 Author Posted January 5, 2025 I don't recall how to send files, so please correct me if I'm doing it wrong. I'm attaching screenshots and exception files that come in when I open the game with WW v183a. Thanks so much. Guest Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 (edited) Well, one thing I notice immediately in your WW Exception file is that you have Devious Desires installed. You can't use both Devious Desires and Wicked Whims. Delete one of them. Edited January 6, 2025 by aerospace

See screenshots and except files below. Any other ideas? (I did see a similar post about the tuning file, so I'm going to check that out to see if I can find any information as well) Thanks! lastException.txt WickedWhimsInfoLog.log WickedWhims_v183a_Exception.txt
RushTX Posted January 9, 2025 Author Posted January 9, 2025 FYI - did not find any info in other posts about fixing this (that post about the tuning file I mentioned was not related, or it was from years back). Still hoping to figure out the problem some day. Sorry, but it's driving me nuts. I removed old cc I know I don't use. Checked to make sure other mods were all updated and removed any conflicting ones. Nothing works.
RushTX Posted January 9, 2025 Author Posted January 9, 2025 (edited) Another thing I'm looking at. For the current WW version, 183a, does it work with this TS4 version: 1.111.102.1030 ? Because that's what I have. Just checking and looking into everything.... Thanks. And after trying again, cleaning up mods folder, getting rid of old stuff and making sure I'm updated all around, still the same error. Invalid Tuning Mods Package File \WickedWhimsMod\TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.packageShow Tuning Invalid Tuning TURBODRIVER:WickedWhims_Sex_ChangeAnimation_Playlist And WW does not show up for any objects or floor. I do NOT want to remove everything and start a completely new game (which was suggested by another post from years ago about a similar issue with the tuning file, another WW version obviously). Is there any way around doing that and not lose my years and years and over 12,000 HOURS of play? (I like my sims, and don't want to lose them. ) Thanks again in advance, and sorry for so many posts!
