Green Plus sign over character head

So During my playthrough I would keep getting a message saying that my character was getting used to wearing restraints and they would be lighter when this happens I get this constant steam of green plus signs on my head that move around as i do, it's very annoying and i cant figure out what mod it causing this bug, I noticed it has it's own unique magic effect but idk what mod it's from it doesn't say in the 'Source' tab

I've had two different people say that they got the same problem while using my mod, Curse of Life, but I don't have the same issue.   I am curious if you all are using a particular hud mod or something that alters the magic effect display.

 

Edit: Also, what version of Skyrim are you using?

I haven't downloaded your mod tho so it cant be it, I think the culprit might be deviously cursed loot but not sure Tho. I say that bc whenever I get sent to the cursed loot jail I get the same issue. my Skyrim is 1.6.640 and the only Hud mods I'm using are SkyUI, Ui Extenstions, morehud. truehud, the widget mod and nordic ui. I've searched all the mcm menus for any floating buff icons or health regens symbols but didn't find anything

Yeah, I mean, I was pretty sure it wasn't my mod that was the culprit, but my mod also adds magic effects so it likely triggers the same issue as what you're experiencing for the same reason.  I do use all those hud mods myself and don't have the same issue though.  It's either a bad config file for one of the hud mods or another mod somewhere in the mix that's triggering the problem.  Would mind PMing me a screenshot of your mod list? I'll try to help you figure it out if I can.

In case anyone else is trying to figure this out, it's a problem with "Better Floating Damage preset" or Floating Damage in general.  There are several proposed solutions on the Nexus comments here.
