Is the free camera simply bugged?

So, I tried to enable automatic free camera the last couple of times I played.

 

The first time, I warped, somewhere and the game froze. This second time, my character went into clothed masturbation and slid alogn the ground when I used the movements keys.

 

I figure it's bugged, but I want to make sure so I don't go looking for a problem I can't fix.
