Sexlab with 1.6.1170.0, matchmaking and menu issues

Im trying to get sexlab working with Skyrim SE 1.6.1170.0 but I can only get the animations to trigger in the animation editor after toggling an actor. Matchmaker no longer works. How are you guys triggering scenes with the newest version of skyrim? O is also not bringing up any menu to search animations.

The answer to all these questions is in the Papyrus log. If I had to guess, I'd say you're not running SL but rather P+, and that's your issue.

Im using SexLabFrameworkAE_v166b, I do have papyrus running but I dont know where the logs are, and its not crashing, its just not showing the menu or match making without having to manually toggle a single animation in the animation editor in the sexlab mod settings

It's built into the game yes.

Googling it would have answered this question 1 hour faster than I did.

Papyrus logs have nothing to do with crashes, unless an actual crash log states otherwise.

SLA and SLAX have invalid properties.

OCum and SLApp have missing properties.

POSS is having issues with AI packages.

Some scripts are missing entirely.

NiOverride script version is different from dll version. Missing native functions.

Don't uninstall mods mid-playthrough. If is a new save then evaluate whether these mods are working or not, and remove or fix them if they aren't.

As for what's causing your MatchMaker issues:

Missing vinutil script. My version of MatchMaker does not have this dependency, nor have I ever seen it before, so I can't help with that. Probably missed something in the mod description, may want to go through that again.

idk how im supposed to not install mods mid-play thru, I started a new game and am installing mods as I go to figure out which ones actually work

im using this version

It started working after I installed some more mods, go figure.

Is there any way to control the animation like with a scrollable list or search? I think I remember something like this

SL TOOLS but it might be difficult to find. I have one archived here if you can't find it elsewhere:

Patched SE SL TOOLS Updated.zip

General advice for all 1.6.1170.0 AE players: Install only mods which you know that they support this version

this way you will avoid all the errors and crashes in our beloved Skyrim and every time before you start your game,

run Resaver cause everytime if you load it, a warning will come immediatly ( if no warning, then your save is clean) , if your save got or have any unatached instances and or undefined elements.

If you get the warning at load start, click in upper left corner the clean option and clean the two first options

then Save As in same folder.

If Resaver ask for save folder location, its on C / User / User Name / Documents / My Games / Skyrim Special Edition / Saves

and if there have you too many save files, delete the older ones or those you dont use anymore, to save huge space on your C drive.
