Profile Cover Photo size...

Hi, does anyone know the size in pixel for the profile cover photo that we can use for our profile?

Don't know the pixel size but the max upload size is 0.15 MB.

I think for the size it it like 0.49MB

My bad I thought you where talking profile photo size. If you use a photo editor and choose something that says social media header in the sample section. That size usually works. and you can crop your image to the size of the header and save.

Hi,

I've been testing the dimensions for the Cover Image on the site as well as profile pictures.

 

As far as I've been able to figure out...

Cover Image dimensions are 2048 x 1104 roughly 2:1 best as a .JPG

Profile Picture dimensions are 150 x 150 best as a .PNG and can support transparency

 

You can also get away with '2048 x 420' for a Cover Image if you wish to reduce your file size or use .PNG for a higher quality image.

I should note that on mobile, there would be empty space so in that case it's better to use a 2:1 ratio image. The cover image can expand downwards when you click it, this is always visible on mobile.

EDIT: According to Invision Community Forums, there is no real 'fixed' resolution for a Cover Image as it'll shrink/grow to the user's screensize.
