Jotasran Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 So my understanding is that brown face generally is caused by a texture mismatch between skin (i use xSensuous) and an npc replacer. I use LamaKreis's Fallout Ladies and don't see any problems. I've tested w Piper and Nora. However when I use Fallout Faces (also by LamaKreis) I get an occasional brown face on specific characters, Polly and Dr. Duff are the most east for me to find w Alternate Start. So upon poking around the interwebs, I believe its a texture mismatch between skin and something in the replacer. However, there are no textures in the Fallout Faces mod file structure. Can low texture hair cause rest face? Or can anyone else point me in a direction to go?
Erebea Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Never heard of an npc replacer causing the brown face issue before. The brown face bug occurs because of mismatched texture resolutions, as a 2K face texture requires a 2K replacer for make up, tattoos etc. Given how fallout faces requires Looks Menu Customization Compendium, and the textures from X-SENSUOUS are 2K, if you haven't already, you'll need to download the 2K version of Looks Menu Customization Compendium. If you still have the brown face bug after that, then something else needs to have 2K textures, and we won't know without your mod list, in a spoiler please. 1

Adding the LMCC 2k seems to have fixed it. Thanks so much!!! 1
