This should stop SexLab from removing apparel it is not supposed to.

 

Description:

 

This is a replacement for SexLab's limited strip feature, it uses K.I.D. to distribute NoStrip keywords to armor added by mods. 

 

SexLab already has a "limited strip" feature that would allow you to strip specific bodyslots only. The problem is all outfits are different and use different slots. I've seen mod authors put panties in almost every slot imaginable. The solution is to add the "NoStrip" keyword to clothing that you do not want equipped and disable SexLab's limited strip feature. This uses a filter that looks for specific phrases like "piercing" and adds the keyword in mass.

 

There are two versions available for download based on your gameplay preference. Both versions can be easily edited, simply delete the lines you don't like.

 

Light Version: (Recommended)

 

This is for users who tend to have a lot of voluntary sex that would allow for stripping of most of clothing.

 

This is the smaller less intrusive version that only targets things like: wigs, ears, piercings, tails, and pubic hair. Perfect for users who don't like seeing their cat-girl being stripped of her wig, cat ears, and little tail during sex! This focuses on targeting appearance changing apparel only. 

 

Extended Version:

 

This is the "mostly rape edition" or for people who have a lot sex outside and wouldn't want to unequip all there armor for a quickie.

 

This version keeps on most clothing that would allow normal sex to still occur, while removing all clothing that could be possibly covering the chest, mouth, or groin. This has an extended list that looks for socks, belts, garters, gloves, pauldrons, necklace, and much much more. In order to be fully naked during sex you would have to manually remove your extra clothing before or during sex. This version will add NoStrip keywords to a lot of clothing!

Only install one!

 

Disable SexLab's limited strip feature for best results.

 

Drop into your data folder or install with a mod manager.

 

Safe to install and uninstall at any time.

 

Future Plans:

 

I am unsure how this will effect different mods so I am looking for feedback!

 

I plan to change and extend the keyword searching based on user feedback. Please let me know if there are any problematic mods that are getting flagged improperly.

Many thanks for your great work.
This is a mod I've been waiting for a really long time, especially for the wigs, ears and tails not to be removed.

 

One question:
Would it be possible to create a similar mod that excludes these items when you are captured or enslaved by various mods?

It is annoying that in such situations my Fox girl loses her ears and her tail.

Hey, other mods that strip your character would either have to to check for NoStrip keywords, or have their own keyword that needs to be distributed in the same way. What mods are still stripping you after installing my patch?  I would first check the MCM for an option that could be turned on, or ask the mod author to add such a feature in a future update.

I mean mods that remove your equipment from the inventory and not just strip it, I don't know if NoStrip keywords work as well. there are several popular mods here on Loverslab that remove all your equipment from the inventory. Many of them do not have an MCM option that prevents the inventory from being emptied. If NoStrip keywords also work in this case, that would be great.

Other mods are likely using a modified vanilla script to remove all items and place them into a separate chest. If this script doesn't scan your inventory for items with keywords, there isn't anything I can do. KID is still relatively new so mod authors have yet to take advantage of fully yet. My hope is that my mod can act as a proof of concept and inspire other mod authors.

Hello! I an searching for something kinda specific and i think you are really close to that already!

 

My Request to you would be: I would like that for Foreplay and Aggressive animations, Sexlab does not strip items which have the "Modesty" keyword in KID files by these mods:

The idea is that when it "needs to go fast" ^^, these items are not in the way.

 

It seems you are using the same technology, just a different keyword already....

 

What would be really perfect: I am not making mods myself so i can only ask, if it maybe is possible to let Sexlab respect that keyword for Foreplay and Aggressive (as in the Sexlab Strip Editor MCM), but for the third option, consensual, still strips as usual completely?

 

I would be thankful if you could consider if that could be possible.

I think one line might be causing an odd issue, though. I noticed some bandits weren't stripping at all, and I couldn't figure out if it was a problem with sexlab or one of half a dozen other random mods. When I was looking through this .ini file I saw the "Keyword = 0x02F16E~SexLab.esm|Armor|*Mantle" line, and I think it might be preventing them from taking off armor with names like "Fur Kilt With Mantle."

 

I haven't had a chance to test yet, but I commented that out and I'll post here again when I know for sure.

That might be outside the scope of this mod. I'm pretty sure SexLab is the mod that uses the "nostrip" keyword to.. well.. not strip items that it otherwise would during a scene where it manages stripping. This is just a list of armor pieces to add that keyword to, to save you the time of doing it yourself if you want to.

 

The modesty keywords supplement the modesty/covering animation mod, which essentially looks at either armor slots (32 and 52 I think) or keywords for when armor slots don't paint an accurate picture (an armor in slot 32 that leaves a character's chest bare, for instance, would need to a keyword to clarify that).

 

Keywords can be anything, and they don't do anything on their own. You need SexLab to do something with the nostrip keyword, and you need the modesty animation conditions to respond to the modesty keywords, but these two mods don't look at each others' respective keywords because they are designed to do different things with them. SexLab could theoretically be designed to look at modesty keywords and only strip armor under the same conditions that would cause a character to cover themselves in the modesty animation mod, but that would be a whole different system - probably not something you could adapt the current nostrip keywords to. Maybe it wouldn't be as much of a pain as it sounds like to me (I'm not a mod author and don't really know anything about scripting), but I do think SexLab or SexLab Plus would be where you want to ask about this kind of change.

Sorry for the late reply. DFM keywords system would be fully and completely incompatible with limited stripping features. Advance Nudity Detection would work better for this feature. Use Sexlabs limited strip feature for best results. Sexlab also doesn't have a keyword/ search for a keyword to determine if something is allowed during foreplay.
