Help with the default peeping sims

Are tom and tina peeping randomly chosen per save game? How can I choose which one spawns in my game? Or how can I switch between them or have them both active in an existing save? I don't want to download a new sim preset and give them the peeping tag to replacer them I am fine with their default looks.

Which one of the Peeping Sims will spawn depends on what most of your household is attracted to.

If most of the Sims in your Household is attracted to men, then Tom will be the one peeping on your window and if most are attracted to women, reverse is true.

Is it just sexual preference or is gender also considered? What if a household if set to be attracted to both males and females?

 

And does the peeper change when I switch to a different household? Or will the peeper from my first active household persist in the save file?
