Can't get rid of vampire sunken cheeks

I'm at my wit's end with this. I have tried everything. I installed multiple fixes (not at the same time), including Supplemental Beauty and Vampire Faces Restored, but none worked. I use HPH and have the fix for vampires enabled, but surprise. That doesn't work, either, which is why I tried the other mods after disabling the fix. I also tried Normal Vampire Face For High Poly Head, but that didn't work, even after I attempted loading its esp below Better Vampires. I disabled all mods I have related to vampires to see if I could locate the issue, but found nothing. This problem isn't just for HPH, but vanilla heads, too.

This is what it looks like. Also, I have a vampire eye mod installed, but that isn't working, either. The fangs do, though.

I have been at this for 2 days now, and am no closer to finding the solution than I was when I began. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but I faced this issue years ago. I ended up just replacing the Vampire's face textures in the game files with the players. Alternatively you could get a mod like BnP that replaces full body and face textures - it's what I personally use.

I tried BnP, but I didn't like the way it looks. Won’t replacing the textures make it so your character can't get fangs?

I'm... Actually not sure. I never thought about that.

Replacing the vampire face textures is 100% fine. They don't contain any teeth textures whatsoever, so it won't mess with the fangs at all. Messing with the teeth texture maybe would, but I'm not 100% on that. I'm pretty sure the fangs are made by just pulling like 2 verts on the teeth mesh, but I could be wrong.

Anyways try using this, it'll replace your vampire face textures with the default face textures. If you still have issues (other than a neck seam lol) it's probably mesh related.

I can try that.

EDIT: It didn't work. My character's face was reverted to vanilla-vampire.

Ok cool, so this is definitely a mesh issue. That looks like the vanilla head mesh too lol. When you installed high poly head, which options did you select? In version 1.4 there's 3 options to remove the sunken face morphs, hopefully fixing it is that simple so you don't have to go digging for some weird conflict lol

I always had probs with vampires. Annoyed me so much I stopped doing the vampire quests.

When a prob like this happened if I remember well I used the console, clicked on my char, setrace nord (or any race you were before becoming vampire), close console.

When the vampire look was ... up and gave me problems to advance the vampire quests, again with console I changed my race to NordraceVampire (or whatever race you normally are). If not sure what race you need, open console - type help vampire - and scroll up (with Page UP) till you see all the RACEs. So you can continue yr vampire quests.

OK, I have good news and bad news.

Good news is the sunken-cheek BS is finally fixed. Halle-fucking-lujah. The issue was Better Vampires. After much fiddling and the latest version of HPH that was provided by a friend (the site that has the mod won't let me make an account for some reason), I discovered that the HPH vampire fix needed to be loaded below BV. For whatever reason, BV was interfering with the fix. I tried this before, but it didn't work. Maybe because HPH was an older version or something? Either way, it's fixed.

Bad news is that my character's eyes still aren't changing. The eyes mod is working for other vampires, but not me. I have fangs, though.

Glad to hear! The eyes issue may be less difficult to figure out. Vampires are divided from base game races by just being a separate race - "NordRace" and "NordRaceVampire" for example. The mod may be setting other Vampires to use a new eye texture instead of just replacing the base game's eye texture; which means you would have to change to that eye in the character creator if so. That could pose some difficulty since opening the race menu while a Vampire reverts you back to base form, though. Not sure how you'd go about fixing that, maybe use "showracemenu" and then "setrace NordRaceVampire" to force your character into the editor as a vampire to check if the eyes are available there?

Vampires are separate race and normal eyes don't apply to them, sadly.

You want this: Feminine Orc Player

It says "orc'  but it does more that that:

Unlocks all male and female vanilla eye colors for all races other than Argonian and Khajiit.

You should be able to use any installed eye mod on any non-beast race now, including vampires. Be advised though, that face geometry is not entirely identical across all races and some eyes will look weird or crooked or will sunk into the sculpt entirely. Not much can be done about it, unless you want to spend half a day face sculpting.

HOWEVER!

Any changes you make in RM to eyes and hair will be reverted next time you enter RaceMenu. It may also revert if you load the save. This is how vampire race works and there is nothing that can be done about it, if you're a regular, non-Volkihar vampire. If you started Dawnguard and have Vampire Lord power, make changes in RM, transform to Vampire Lord, then transform back. You will need to do this every time you change eyes or hair in RM though if you want it to stick.

Maybe there are better solutions out there, but I hate playing vampires so I never looked too deep.

Now, if you were a werewolf, there are no such issues.
