Sexy Bound Daedric Armor for 7B:

Heyo everyone,

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but hadn't gotten around to it.  This project is based on foster xbl's work, since he was one of the first people I know to make bound armor really happen.  I may decide one day to make separate spells to summon individual pieces of armor, but that's when I got time to do it.

Required files:

Either case this is all based on this mod here, so you will need to download this if you already haven't.

Sevenbase is also a requirement, if you don't want to see clipping if you're are wearing it nude.  You can of course use this with any body type without any issues.

Screenshots:

Here's both with armor under, and naked.  The reason my characters breasts are clipping is because I'm using a modified version of UNPB.  The iron armor I'm wearing is 7b though.

I'll try to get some better screen shots up when I get a chance.  As of now those are just so you have a reference.

Obtaining the spells in game:

I actually haven't played through the mod yet to see how to obtain the spells in game ROFL.  There's some kind of book in the whiterun mage NPC's area, but I have no idea how to use it.

If you wish to add the spell via console,

Just use my screen shot as a reference:

Any of those in the circle should result in the same looking bound armor.  There is a difference between them, but I'm not exactly sure what the difference is.  So, I suggest you refer to the original mod if you have any other questions.

All you have to do is type for example:

player.additem 4A001835 1

Then just go to your inventory and use the book of bound armor like you do to learn regular spells.  I use this method because sometimes adding stuff to your character, like spells can cause odd things to happen in your saves.  This seems to be the safest way I've used in the past.  (I could be wrong though lol).

Update:  K I finally figured out how to obtain the armor, and man what a pain it is to get it.  Instead of making some cool quest, or it buyable at vendors you have to basically get a bunch of items to make it.  This video by some random guy, takes a while to explain how to obtain it:

You basically need just a blank book, black soul stone with a soul in it, and click on the book to craft the spell (no idea why you have to "craft" a spell book lol).  The book is located in the Whiterun Yarl's court mage room (forgot his name).  Its the left room, and it should be a book on his desk you can click on.

Yeah, plus I think his version look awful.  I uploaded a screen shot of my modification to his screen shot area section, and he removed it LOL.  I'm guessing he's one of those "lore" onry type of people.  He could have been at least so kind as to message me why he removed it.  I was actually willing to work with him if he wanted some other options or shapes.

Instead he kept it generic as heck, and nothing like the original.  The original to be "lore" friendly, looks like daedric armor in most of the other elder scroll games.  I happen to like how it looks currently, though I may do some tweaking.  I can make variations if I feel like it, since there is a couple versions.

Either case glad you like it.

I also updated the post with some info on how to obtain it, since I've yet to even figure it out in game without console lol.

You make the armor at Farengar's desk but you go to the alter near lakeview manor and craft soul gems for it.

I personally don't mind the original armors look but it's just that swirling effects and sounds are kind of obnoxious lol the clipping was just the straw. Same with the dragonborn avatar shout which I modded the swirls and sounds off of :P

And you're right if he really was so anal about being lore friendly; then when you cast the spell you'd just be equip in regular deadric armor with heavy armor enchantments like in Morrowind and Oblivion...

And honestly forget about him... you'd be hard pressed to get that kind of negative reaction from modders on LL, which is why people come here from the Nexus. Think about it this way, Lovers Lab is a community, and the Nexus is a mod bank. Communities share but banks only withdraw or deposit.

@Cornbreadtm- Ah yea Farengar lol.  I seriously haven't played the game for almost what feels like a year now.  I was alot more active before on LL, but got burned out.  Mainly due to frustration with BBP.

This is still a WIP, I haven't yet touched the first person meshes yet.  Shouldn't be difficult once I mess with it.  I may do the variation for the diff armors.  I could either piece mail the armor, till the heaviest or do some other method.  Again I'm thinking old school morrowind style, where I may very well just make a custom spell for different parts of the armor.  There was never "full" bound armor in any elder scrolls.  It was just you could make a custom spell with all of the pieces included lol.

I seriously wanted to make this mod around the release of skyrim, but not even the CK was out at that point.  By the time people figured out the dam CK, progress was very slow.

Its also possible I could "change" the color of the effect, and increase/decrease its luminosity.  I've already done a similar project, which was custom bound weapons.  I wanted to expand the bound weapons and make them more elemental.  So I made like a fire sword, ice, lightning, poison, and dark.  I tried to link it to destruction magic, instead of conjuration for scaling.  For whatever reason the CK said it worked, but the in game mechanics only scaled by a very small amount.  Though it at least increased your destruction magic when you used them in combat lol.
