Omnishade Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) I tried asking ChatGPT about this and it suggests using RAD tools, but the problem is that it requires a license, which might be hard to get for a non-developer and might be quite costly. I've seen a lot of people uploading menu replacers with a simple image though, so how do they do it? Edited November 18, 2024 by OmniCaptor
Varithina Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 For a re-placer of the existing one it should be a case of making sure the one you are creating is the correct format for the graphics side of things, extension, size etc, then rename it to the same as the original one, making sure that the directory structure is the correct one as well, and that should be it. If you use mo2, easiest way would be to grab one of the ones available, install it as a mod, but do not activate it, but that will let you see things like directory structure and the file name. For the actual stuff like format, resolution and such not too sure about that but a decent graphics program should be able to read and write those files, allowing you to change your own image to the type required.

I found a solution. First convert the image into mp4, then bik with RAD Tools(which can be done without a license), and then just rename to bk2(which is the standard format for the game).
