Well - for me a browser plug-in (Firefox) does the translation AUTOMATICALLY

 

otherwise both texts - the original text and the English translation - look IDENTICAL.

 

I don't understand anyway - why some users make such a fuss about a "foreign language" text... in the age of translation programs - and that on an INTERNET site that even deals with IT content (modification of computer games aka software)!

I use Brave ad blocking Browser, no auto translate for me...

Because its in good taste and its polite. Its part of good netiquette.

 

English, like it or not, is de facto lingua franca, a modern Latin if you will. If I'm on an international website, I EXPECT everyone to post in English in public despite it not being my first language (it's actually fourth to be precise) for everyone's convenience, without the hassle of having to go through translation software, even if it's automatic. Even if I saw someone posting in my own native language, I would've replied to them in English, because I'm on international site and I want to be polite and respectful to others. Especially when I'm roasting them. I'll roast them in English out of respect for everyone else.
