Annoying bug in basemental drugs; I can't sell drugs to celebrities.

As the title is saying. 

I am wondering if somebody knows why this bug happens.

Celebrity calls and wants me to come over.

I go there but when ever I try to sell the drugs they just start talking about something else.

This happens with all celebrities. Even if they don't call and I meet them somewhere and try to sell it's the same.

is the drugs selection in the pie menu showing up, and if so is the sale action showing up?

i'm thinking maybe your relationship with them isn't good enough to open up all of their socials. i haven't played my weed man for awhile so i don't remember if celebrities are meant to behave differently with basemental interactions.

The menu is showing. The interaction is queued, but when the interaction is supposed to play out another interaction is happening instead, the customer is joking or doing a prank or something else and the deal never takes place.

I just found out I could sell MDMA to a celebrity. Before I only tried to sell cocaine. So maybe it's only cocaine I can't sell, or maybe it's not all celebrities and only some. I have to play some more to find out. But I can definitely not sell cocaine to any of the Bailey's.

I wish I could change the title of the thread. It's only cocaine I can't sell to celebrities. 100% confirmed.

I wonder what weird bug causes this, only cocaine and only celebrities.

Are you high enough rank. Have you talked to them and got to the seal the deal option when intoduce them and get them as client. I have no trouble selling to celib's. Rank 8 in Coke dealing, but my "dealer" is also a global celib so maybe that is why.

They call me to come to them so yeah I have sealed the deal. I am no celebrity, but that shouldn't matter, I sell all other drugs to celebs. It's probably a bug, maybe another mod interfering. Because the action to sell is in the queue but as soon as it "fall down" to be played it is immediately switched to another action, like tell a joke or something else of that nature.

This happened to me too, a while ago. Never got a solution for it, but since it wasn't a major part of my game, I eventually just said screw it. My main kingpin character plays as a gang leader rather than a dealer, now. so this doesn't really matter anymore.

I do both, the Gang activities makes me the most money. But I like to sell drugs to have more stuff to keep me busy.

 

I just setup a casino and made 126K from my enforcer in a week. Haha..
