[XCL] U666 Bruce Mods [EXPERIMENTAL]

Experimental/WIP mods to make Bruce do...more

I figure I'll probably make a few mods for Bruce in the future, so I'm staking out this page to host them.

 

The first one is a bare-bones, proof-of-concept mod. Try it out if you'd like to help me play-test it, and let me know how it goes.

 

Bruce Bar Girl Challenge

If Bruce is at the bar when you try to hook up with a bar girl, there's a good chance he'll try to stop you. He'll challenge you to cards: bet your masculinity against a night with the hottie you've just managed to woo.

 

Right now this works with any girl that Bruce *doesn't* have under his spell (but maybe I'll be able to do something about that in the future).

 

And...that's it. That's all it does for now.

 

 

Bruce Meeting Alexia Tweaks

Stop me if you've heard this one: You go to The Electric Pickle with Alexia, dance with her, mess up the mini-game, and the next thing you know, Bruce is hitting on her. It's like clockwork!

Well, what if you didn't know when Bruce would strike? Maybe he doesn't even wait for you to fail at dancing? That's what this mod does; it adds some randomness to Bruce hitting on Alexia in the club.

 

 

Bruce Attacks!

An add-on for Spike Fun. If you get spiked at the bar while Bruce is present, he'll now make some moves on you. I mean...why wouldn't he?

Appreciate this, almost tempted myself to learn how to mod to make Bruce more of a forced path.

 

For some reason though it's not appearing in my in-game mod list. Using 0.21.2 and the 2.0.5.1 mod loader, no errors when installed with the loader. Unsure if it's actually on but not listed yet.

 

Wondering what the 'try hook up' trigger is. Is it when you ask to take her home to fuck? Does he interrupt if you've fucked her before?

This was somewhat more of my reasoning. I haven't seen much of the Bruce content because it seems like you really have to go out of your way to trigger it; there's no real motivation.

 

That said, I'm not quite sure what all is there. You can start something by "betting your masculinity," and he can start having sex with your step-sister if you fail a dance mini-game with her at the club.

 

I don't know if anything happens after that, but in the case of the latter, I've never seen it progress any further than catching them having sex.

The mod intercepts they passage where you are leaving the bar together. I think I set it so that he's got a 66% chance to interrupt you if he's in the bar at the time. He'll do it even if you've had sex with her before, but not if you've won the bet before for that girl.

Sorry, turns out the error was on my end, all working now.

Yeah there's not much to it beyond what you've said. It fills a niche interest of risking getting stuck without being 'properly' stuck (eg preg permanence), especially if you do it right at the start of the run with no money no skills.

sometimes there is an infinite loop where after winning a challenge against bruce, he asks again. the only workaround is giving him the first girl you see in bar which removes him from bar. but this does make you lose points with the girls... so for a dom route, this workaround sucks.

I've never come across this, and I've actually played through the scenario a couple of times. Is this with the most recent version?

tested it a bit more, looks like there is a critical conflict between this mod and the Bruce cucks you mod. as soon as I removed that mod from active... it went away.

That looks very interesting. Indeed, Bruce is too easy to avoid. He should be more proactive.
