Invisible Offender

I've been running LPK for about a year now, and this issue has been there right from the beginning.

For some animation numbers (a lot) the offender is invisible during sex, but instantly fades in again after sex. I first noticed it for the player character, but then observed it also for NPCs.

It isn't an ESP related problem, because it also happens if i run LPK with nothing else than UOP and raperS. It also cannot be because of obsolete versions, because i have every piece updated (including LPK and raperS, OBSE, etc etc etc).

It either must have to do with some files (but then again, since the newest LPK is one single "unpack and run" archive, one can't really do anything wrong. Yes, i know about loadorder - also not the issue, plus with just oblivion LPK and raperS, there isn't much to do wrong with the loadorder (just have to make sure to place those two anim ESPs last in loadorder). The other option is that it is for whatever reason related to my machine, but then i wouldn't understand why there are no other plugins in oblivion having problems, or other games on my HDD.

Anyways, today i spent one hour testing, and noted down the animation numbers where the problem appears:

Those aren't all that show the problem - it's just those i found in one hour of testing. What i find interesting, is that there seem to be clear number-ranges which all trigger the problem - most obviously 110-130 and 140-150. Is there anything in particular about those ranges, where the animations have something in common?

Oh, one more thing - when it happens to the player char, it ALWAYS is the case, that the cam tries to move into to the playerchars' head from outside, at the start of animation - it never happens if the camera i.e. pans sidewards.... a bit as if all animations where this happens, have the initial camera set to POV position.

When i paste a post i previously wrote in my texteditor (set to UTF8), into the textbox, and then click "post", the forum usually eats all linebreaks. LBs in texteditor are set to windows style (CRLF)

Problem finally found:

There were actually two plugins which originally caused the issue - one of them was still active when i wrote the OP. Guess which one?

Unofficial Oblivion Patch

Yeah, the last thing one would think about disabling.... it was there from the start (about a year ago), and IIRC i never updated it. Maybe the UOP devs at that point in time released an UOP version that not just fixed bugs, but introduced new ones.

The second plugin also is something, that normally shouldn't cause any problems: It's a plugin i wrote, and it does nothing else, than change global vars for the vanity cam. To make absolutely sure, i loaded it into TES4Edit. The only vars it changes are:

fVanityModeXMult

fVanityModeWheelMin

fVanityModeYMult

fVanityModeWheelMult

fVanityModeAutoXSpeed

fVanityModeWheelDefault

There is NOTHING ELSE in this plugin! Yet it causes the mentioned issue. My guess is that Vanity View settings (movement speed, etc), also affect the freecam, and.... someway.... dont ask me why and how.... cause stuff to disappear. BUT only ever the offender in case of LPK.

Lovers has built in scripting to force third party cam.  This was necessary to keep things from crashing back when it was written.  Any plugin that attempts to mess with that will cause issues as you have discovered.

As for UOP, never used the thing so I wouldn't know.  I use OOO which revamps the entire game and thus I have no need for UOP.
