Enter hunting mode by pressing numpad 0 and press f8 to export it. I'd recommend editing d3dx.ini first so that only the texture gets exported, like this: find the line analyse_options = xxxxxxx and replace whatever after the = with "dump_tex dds"

I'd highly recommend just abandoning the idea, as they're a bigger headache than they're worth.
