Game choppyness

I got Scake and Altermatic up and running pretty smoothly I would say. However; every so often the game locks for couple seconds before letting me move again.  It's a full lock where all animation and game play is frozen.  Then just continues like nothing happened.  Does anyone know way to stop this? I have the current version of the UESS what ever program and current versions of Scake and Altermatic.  Is there some setting I may of overlooked or need to do to fix it?

I believe you are talking about the game's autosave feature. For some reason it does just get really bad the further into the game you get and I ended having to increase the time between autosaves in the world settings just so I could spend less time frozen.

I'm seeing that that now. THen shortly after, i can't start game without it crashing... the UE4SS seems be breaking constantly now.  But just before that, changing the autosave did seem to work.  Thanks

I don't know what your mod list looks like, but if you have mod config menu you need to remove that.

OH MY GOD, THANK YOU!  I had assumed my PC's specs not being quite there was the issue and did not realize the game was saving each time the game temporarily froze!

 

With the game still being technically early access, I can understand and even appreciate wanting the player to lose as little info as possible should anything happen, but autosaving every 30 seconds, especially when it lags this bad each time the game saves, is kind of insane, lol.
