 No, as it says on the mod's page here, the newest version requires 21.6+ to work.

A few questions on the 'missions' which could end up being Mod conflicts (which would be understandable if so).

Is the breeder mission active at the moment? And if so, how do you actually agree to it. Tried having a Breeder on me, being male and tried being on breeder as a female already, to no avail.

How does the swimming mission work exactly/is it completable at the moment? Is it a fixed target no matter what? Double the target you're actually given? It's pretty frustrating at the moment as you don't get any feedback beyond "you can't have a passive orgasm" or "you have to have more orgasms" and unless I'm missing it somewhere, the only beginning explanation we get is along the lines of "Oh, you're a Servant? It's different for you. You still earn money though and can probably earn a lot of it." would be nice if it was spelled out a bit more.

Best I've gotten so far is double the indicated target of dominant orgasms and 6 orgasms in total, and the only way I can see getting further than that is incredibly tedious given the bonus passive damage makes any attempt of recovery once you hit 4/5 orgasms an instant 'loss' as you're not allowed any passive orgasms. (If it's even possible, as at low enough dominance/satisfaction you can't resist and will insta-lose).

As I said, could be there's a mod conflict going on if something should be showing up/happening, just want to know what's there/how to get there so that I can go in a bit more informed rather than continue to flail about blindly.

Otherwise enjoying the mod a lot :).

I would not seriously attempt Coach's "swim" challenge without a maxed out character and very strong knowledge of the minigames & game mechanics. It's not really supposed to be fair, let alone easy. In fact, it's easier (without the added difficulty from this mod) to "go infinite" and make amounts of money you could only express in scientific notation because you can take a passive orgasm strategically every once in a while.

 

But in general, you should not assume that Kokopelli is your friend or is going to treat you fairly.

The next release (which will be 0.21.7) is currently in playtesting, so it won't be long, but I've attached 0.10.3 of KS to this post, which I think is the last version to work with previous public releases of XCL.

So I had a few questions bout the coach challenge, for one, can it be attempted again later? I do notice that doing the mini games during it give you EXP and levels in "passive sex" and "active sex"  which I don't think i've seen elsewhere. doing the challenge multiple times to become better at it seems like the way to go, but only if it can be repeated.

in the tutorial it says "Plus if you orgasm in an active position, you won't lose stamina ." however it doesn't seem to be the case, every time I use stamina to take control and orgasm the stamina remains consumed. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the tutorial but I woudl have thought it meant that if you manage to come by using stamina in an active position the cost would be refunded.

 

I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to prepare for it, as if it can only be attempted once, you gotta go at it with the proper skills leveled up but I'm not sure if there is anything that can help with recovering stamina since once you have 4-5 active orgasm, even an empty pleasure bar will fill to 100% with any passive positions. My guess is that you should try to have 10 or more stamina by that point and just try to orgasm back to back with the active position command, but then the RNG can screw you over (managed to clear the lightsout minigame board 3 times in a row, but got a roll of 1 each time)

The tutorial and its explanations are a base game thing; you aren't going to be refunded your stamina but you don't lose all of it the way you do with a passive orgasm.

 

Coach's KS challenge can be attempted as many times as you want; there's nothing stopping you from trying it again. It's difficult but definitely not impossible and can require using every available type of action - it's more difficult to complete the challenge in KS than it would be in the base game, which is already somewhat challenging. I recommend going in with a maxxed out character, preferably with 4 action points so you can guarantee you'll start the challenge with 12 stamina after stretching.

I tried running Kokopelli's without them and for some reason despite having creampied girls, in the stats it said I haven't inseminated anyone.

Love the update! But I think the encounter with Coach Waterfield might need to be tweaked, it's basically impossible to complete. You can't get to the 10 orgasms, the closest I was ever able to get was 5 with 7 fitness. The other problem is that with every orgasm you take more passive pleasure, so it gets to a point where you can't regen energy because trying to do so would completely and instantly fill your pleasure bar. I really love the encounter, I just wish I could finish it.

It's really difficult but doable, I don't fully remember the strategy, but I was able to do it following the tips of someone on the F95 forums, you might be able to find it there.

Kokopelli doesn't always play fair with you, and *might* be sending you into something you're not ready for. To pass Coach's challenge you'll want 10 fitness and probably 4 AP at the start, so that you can spend all four making sure you get the benefits of stretching beforehand. That should give you enough stamina that you can, with some practice and careful planning, get to 10 orgasms, maybe even 11 or 12, without having to take a passive orgasm. You will probably end up using almost every kind of action at some point.

Might be a bit unbalanced. The Coach encounter is much harder than the encounter that comes after, with more penalties if failed (creampie with high fertility - and permanent fertility increase (even though it doesn't seem permanent, bugged?).

The sauna challenge on the other hand doesn't punish failure in the same way.

 

(Not saying it should be easier. But the following encounter(s) could be tweaked to be more punishing)

 When you're referring to the encounter that comes after, which one are you talking about? The sauna encounter (that's repeatable), or the repeat encounters with Coach?

 

The permanent fertility increases definitely work, but it runs through the game's pregnancy chance calculations which have a number of other factors involved. Or did you mean the boost to male fertility that you get from the sauna event? Because I'm pretty sure that works correctly as well.

The sauna encounter is intended to be played repeatedly. The idea is that doing it once or twice is not hard, but doing it a dozen times without losing control of the situation once is very difficult. Each time you succeed you'll increase your fertility when male, and the probability of getting a bar girl pregnant will go up. The fertility increases in Coach's challenge permanently increase your chances of getting pregnant whenever you're female, on the other hand.

 

I didn't really intend for it to be as tough as Coach's challenge, which is meant to be a significant milestone for you and mark you as special. Coach is hard and requires a high-level character with mostly maxed skills (and a player that's mastered the minigames) so that once you pass, it's believable that even Kokopelli thinks you're valuable and useful.

so I had a few questions, and perhaps some suggestions.

Is there any benefit from indulging Xochiquetzal? I'm on a new playthrough due to losing my previous save file, and I've been wanting to try and get ready to attempt the coach waterfield challenge, but Xochiquetzal keeps showing up and draining my stats which doesnt let me max out anything. The challenge is already hard enough as it is, being unable to get any stat at its max level for more than a few days makes it really hard to plan around. and since she takes more stat when you choose the same option back to back, does it speed up accessing any of the potential benefits? or does it only affect the player?

On a similar note, I dont remember if the older build of the mod has Kokopeli give weekly demands on mondays, but he sometimes asks for either impossible challenges or people who rarely ever show up at the bar. He asked me to try and impregnate Alexia, while her questline wasnt near advanced enough to even get to the hotel with her, Kokopeli also requested some characters that I had never met before (got a bunch of extra bar girls added as mods). Ideally, Kokopelli's requests should only include people you've alreay met before or actually can sleep with. And on a similar note, perhaps making it so that the girl he demands you to seed would be garanteed to appear next time you go to the bar, or perhaps give you an option to call her. I've had a bunch of weeks were the person he requested has not showed up a single time, and it becomes tedious to need to save scum multiple times until the target shows up.

Also, I am not sure if it's meant to be, but Kokopelli's still request you to seed people while you are under the effect of an X-change, so it means you can't be under the effect of any pill that lasts more than a few days or you get penalized for litterally being unable to follow the requests. In my preparation for the waterfield challenge I wanted to spend a few days wearing slutty outfits so I dont get that penalty during the challenge, but now I can't work on it without risking running out of time in a week to hit the target.

Currently, Xochiquetzal just drains your stats; the next release is going to rebalance her a bit - her primary use is to introduce a little friction to characters that are maxed out, but I think she's showing up too early and penalizing characters too much. A lot of my initial balancing for her was done with a completely maxed out character that also had (effectively) infinite money and favor with Kokopelli, and now that I'm doing a new playthrough I agree that she's a little too aggressive. In the future - it's nowhere near ready yet, sorry - there will be a repeatable encounter with Xochiquetzal that will have some significant benefits if you defeat her, and set you on the path to becoming one of her slaves if she defeats you too many times. In the meantime, until I have the next release ready, feel free to set the "strength gain base" and "charm gain base" in the xochi object within $trickster_quest to smaller numbers if you're comfortable using Harlowe commands. Or edit the files and reload the mod. Or even make a little modlet of your own.

 

As far as the mini quests to knock up bar girls (or Alexia), they're not supposed to be entirely fair. Kokopelli only lays off of them if you're pregnant, otherwise he expects you to transform back using his services or Mutatio and do your duty. I don't think I'm going to change that. Part of the point of the weekly demands is to force you to get out of your comfort zone: As I'm sure you know, you can game the core systems quite a bit by carefully choosing which girls to sleep with and when, to the extent that you can get a month or more sometimes out of hooking up with the same girl every week, and basically slow-play everything. Kokopelli does not want you to do that, he wants you to be a man-slut. So once you hit a certain threshold he starts tasking you with a random girl every week, and he only ever picks girls that aren't already pregnant.

 

While the original point of KS was to put in a mechanism where you could get away with risky creampies, I've come to see the mod as changing the approach to playing XCL - it effectively breaks the mechanics of bar girl sex while forcing you to do other things in order to keep up with demands, including carefully planning out what you're going to do for the next game week or two - plans that might get wrecked by bad luck or the other systems in the game.
