Ryhpez Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) Release Date: 6 March 2025 Pre-order up on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3155730/Venus_Vacation_PRISM__DEAD_OR_ALIVE_Xtreme/ Edited November 1, 2024 by Ryhpez
Guest Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 This will indeed be a paid game as well. Approx. $50 USD for base game, approx. $70 for the Deluxe. And that method of sending a gift card from my main Steam account to my Singapore one worked! So I'll be able to purchase the game on my next pay. 😀
azndragon2222 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Any suggestions on ordering the game on Steam without having to use alternate accounts? I tried using a VPN but Steam account is tied to US Store.

I tried using a VPN but Steam account is tied to US Store. You'll have to use a VPN to change your store region from US to one in Asia. I use Singapore for my alt. People have said in the past you can do this to obtain Venus Vacation and then switch your store back to US when you already have it downloaded but that only works because VV is F2P. With PRISM costing money if you change your store region, you're going to have to also have a form of payment from that region as well. Your US issued debit card/PayPal won't work (though some have speculated a credit card capable of international purchases may). It's best just to make an alt account in a different region and play both VV and PRISM on that since the two games are going to share content and therefore, you'll want to have both under the same account. 1. Completely sign out of your main Steam account on both the client and web browser. 2. Use a VPN and choose you locale somewhere in Asia (I recommend Singapore). 3. Open your web browser and navigate to the Steam website. Create a new Steam account. 4. Your new Steam account should now be set to the foreign store front you chose by default (Singapore store for example). Now log into your new Steam account via the client while the VPN is still active. 5. Search for and download Venus Vacation. Then search for Venus Vacation PRISM. Wish list it. And you can now turn off the VPN and continue to use your alt account to play VV and PRISM any time WITHOUT THE NEED OF VPN. The VPN is only necessary for the initial setup, not every time you play. Now the way you'll purchase PRISM is to use your MAIN steam account and add your alt account as a friend. Wait 72 hours and after that you'll be able to use your main Steam account to send Steam gift cards to your alt account. So, on your main account if you send a $50 USD gift card for example to your alt account, it will automatically convert the currency and add the funds to your alt account's Steam wallet enabling you to buy the game.

When I started VV, I changed my VPN to Hong Kong or something else, logged in to Steam normally, clicked download, then logged out and uninstalled the VPN, logged in again, and when I couldn't access the game's website 9not my region) but the game continued to download normally, and when I make purchases in the game, the money is withdrawn normally from the account without any problems, are you saying that it will be different with PRISM?

I don't know what your personal form of payment is or your home region and how that relates to Hong Kong's conversion, I can only speak from what I've experienced here in the US where using my debit card and even trying my PayPal did not work because they did not match my Steam store account's region (Singapore).

If anything, I can always buy it on PS5

Granted, I'm sure modders will be all over it but the game having a price tag is a barrier VV has never had. As far as the console versions I've heavily considered buying a modded PS4 to play Fortune in VR but that would also mean I'd have to buy a PSVR as well which from what I understand isn't even compatible with PS5 and PSVR2? So like, I couldn't get a PS5 and PSVR2 and even use Fortune in VR? IDK, I don't own any PlayStation products besides a Vita I bought and modded earlier this year and haven't really used yet besides installing mods for Venus and other Vita games. And then I own Scarlet on Switch so I don't think it's worth the investment in the PlayStation brand for me. At this point in gaming, I'm moving towards the PC eco system.

I Hope that worked for me, i've tried Yesterday with VPN to buy IT but failed on payment methods. So Short, Vpn on, Log all Accounts from Steam of. Create Hongkong Account Add friend Send Gift Card Buy Game ad present Send to Main Account. Is that working ???
Konomiya_112 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 damn this game not free, oh well, i'm going back to doaxvv now 😆

You should have logged out of your Steam account in browser and client BEFORE turning on VPN but honestly that shouldn't matter too much I don't think. As long as the VPN was on before creating your Hong Kong account (and assuming your VPN is routing to Hong Kong and thus you have the Hong Kong store open during creation). Using your main account add your Hong Kong account as a friend and then 72 hours later send a Steam gift card from your main account to your Hong Kong account and buy the game using your Hong Kong account. I am not aware of being able to then send the game back to your main account, you will need to continue to use your Hong Kong account to play the game. However, you don't have to continuing using the VPN with your Hong Kong account.

Guest Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Honestly, this game being a paid game is a good thing IMO simply because now it's something that will always be around. Fortune for the PS4 finally just started being modded this year but only on a modded PS4 so it's limited, and while Venus is modded on Vita, Scarlet on Switch is not, plus Venus and Scarlet look inferior to Venus Vacation anyway. As much as I enjoy the current Venus Vacation and the wonderful mods there's always that thought in the back of my mind that one day they will pull the plug on the servers and that'll be it for this game and all its mods. At least with this new game being a paid game with a new graphics engine and on PC ensures that it'll always be playable and if it takes off with modding then the game and mods could look even better than the current VV without the worry of the game ever going away.
