Setekh Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Ok, so this addon is officially beginning to piss me off. All of the NPC's that I equip with HDT footwear have their feet go below ground and I cannot raise them. Isn't that what the global offset is? I have latest Skyrim and SKSe and I used the beta 05 from nexsucks.
Setekh Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Nevermind, I've ditched it and edited the shoes myself. A quick look through many threads across the web seem to indicate that this mod isn't the most stable and having it enabled just for 1 piece of clothing on 1 follower sounds like savegame suicide. Thread can be deleted.
TnTTnT Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I have 2 piece of high heels for my PC and Lydia. My save still live.
lidowxxx Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Maybe you could fiddle with the parameters in MCM more before you reached a hasty conclusion? I've had the mod in my last 2 playthroughs and I've got my PC and follower(s) in heels almost all the time and my saves didn't malfunction in any way. Some values you change may require a restart of the game, it's worth the hassle though, once you get used to the system, you will never want to go back to those boots that butcher the beauty of your character's legs(they cut part of the calves to compensate the height of the shoes so your legs will appear shorter).

Not at all hasty, simple realisation. The boots I wanted to work weren't even high heels, they were knee high leather boots with not even a half inch platform on them but for some reason the creator decided it needed the HDT system. I have no other footwear that requires the system so why mess with it when I only need it for 1 piece of clothing that's not even going to be worn all the time? So no, it isn't 'worth the hassle' in this instance. If I wanted to add several pieces such as newmiller/elewin heels then I would have persevered, but thanks for thinking I just rage quit and gave up because 'it's too hard' I got a giggle out of that.
